buffalo1983 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I like this 100%. Didn't want to see him go. He will bring that leadership role that we need. Hopefully he gets some playing time and then there's the bye.
BiggieScooby Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Russ Brandon......"We need to sell some tickets. Let's call back Merriman!"
Optometric Insight Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 If he plays Sunday, this will be the latest game he's played for the Bills.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Can't say that I hate the idea of bringing back an emotional leader who can try to keep his teammates accountable
DrDawkinstein Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Love the move. Hated the cut to begin with. The defense wasnt the same after Merriman went down last year. Completely lost their intensity that won us the Pats and Eagles games. Same thing this year after he got cut. Good move bringing him back.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I don't care what any of you guys say... This is the best news I've heard all season... Love that dude... Just his energy alone is enough for me man... Hate on Merriman all u want... He will make other players better if not by doing it himself... +1 for the front office...
It's in My Blood Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Sweet! We desperately needed a vocal leader. I wonder if they took him to Tempo.
HeHateMe Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Didn't like the cut the first time, thought you might as well see what he can do in the season if you have kept him this long and the fact that he was finally healthy. Don't know how much he will play but I don't hate the move.
Meark Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 He was one of the most vocal guys on D.. We need leaders like him.. I was surprised no one picked him up which does cause a little concern..
Astrojanitor Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Jay Glazer just tweeted Merriman has signed with Buffalo I think this is great news. Yeah he's way past his prime and has health issues; however, he brings a much needed spark to the team. He's worth signing just for his personality.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 good signing. hopefully he can get his feet wet against the Titans, before the two-week break.
Ryan911t Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I'm really happy to see that they brought him back and I'm surprised that nobody else picked him up. I think he is a good locker room guy that will help to hold guys accountable and inject some intensity into some guys.
Dragonborn10 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Bills text'd... I thought he played the run well last year even with a bum shoulder. I wonder if he gets snaps at olb though. I thought Moats rushed passer well yesterday. Kelsay was solid. Moore looks like a project.
