Mark VI Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Talked to many during the course of the day. Nice people. I've never found them to be a bad bunch, in my many years of attending games. I wish other teams fans,as a whole, acted as well as Steeler fans. Security made rare vists into the stands.
clumping platelets Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I agree.....I didn't sense any arrogance. They come from the same stock as Bills fans. We are very much alike. A little friendly ribbing both ways....no problem. I don't have any problem wishing them well in the playoffs
Just Jack Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 The only fans I saw escorted out were Bills fans. One in our section was being a sloppy drunk, and another in a section across the field (1st hand report from one of the people involved) because he took a Steeler fans seat cushion and chucked it over the top of the stadium.
bill in Livonia Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I was there and I agree. Personaly I saw no really bad behavior. GO BILLS!! (next year)
PromoTheRobot Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I would think Steeler fans are a classier bunch than, say, Patriots fans. PTR
gmac17 Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I would think Steeler fans are a classier bunch than, say, Patriots fans. It is a bit tough to be classy when you've only been a fan for 3 years.
Like A Mofo Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 It is a bit tough to be classy when you've only been a fan for 3 years. 190214[/snapback] Give the Pats fans credit....they have been SO loyal since Bills Parcells arrived!! As for the Steelers fans I agree...there were a few where I was sitting too and they were cool...talked a lot about their fans there, they said they liked coming to games at the Ralph, good atmosphere etc.
