boyst Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 http://blogs.buffalo...ew-stadium.html A new MLS soccer stadium in Queens, that is. PTR What the hell is wrong with NY? New York is a freaking state, and the state would be better off selling NYC to Jersey.
BiggieScooby Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 MLS soccer rules. Maybe the Rhinos & Bills can go in on one too.
Mr. WEO Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 What the hell is wrong with NY? New York is a freaking state, and the state would be better off selling NYC to Jersey. Actually, no, it wouldn't.
CodeMonkey Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 http://blogs.buffalo...ew-stadium.html A new MLS soccer stadium in Queens, that is. PTR It's the smart play. Making people in Buffalo happy gets Cuomo jack ****. But making people in NYC happy gets Cuomo re-elected.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Actually, no, it wouldn't. Yes. It would. Nyc and downstate screw us left right and center. NY would be much better off without downstate. Our economic reality doesn't align with their entitlement spending and upstate economies suffer.
The Senator Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Honestly, anyone capable of rational thought has to realize that a new stadium makes much more sense than dumping another $200+ million into 'The Ralph'
Mr. WEO Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Yes. It would. Nyc and downstate screw us left right and center. NY would be much better off without downstate. Our economic reality doesn't align with their entitlement spending and upstate economies suffer. Most data show the opposite. But rant on... And did anyone actually read that two bit article PTR posted? Where does it say the state is funding that stadium?
CodeMonkey Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Most data show the opposite. But rant on... And did anyone actually read that two bit article PTR posted? Where does it say the state is funding that stadium? It does not say the state is funding a stadium, but neither does the title of this thread. Both simply state that Cuomo favors one, which is backed up in the blog post ... A proposed 25,000-seat soccer stadium in Queens has the support of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, according to the New York Times.
Mr. WEO Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 It does not say the state is funding a stadium, but neither does the title of this thread. Both simply state that Cuomo favors one, which is backed up in the blog post ... So what? Was the OPs intent to simply show us that Cuomo wouldn't mind a soccer stadium being built in the City? Obviously not--look at his post.

Mr. WEO Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) WEO has a bug up his keaster for me. PTR Ha! You flatter yourself. Anyway, why don't you tell us the reason you posted this? Edited October 10, 2012 by Mr. WEO
PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 Ha! You flatter yourself. Anyway, why don't you tell us the reason you posted this? To work up chumps like you. PTR
Mr. WEO Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 To work up chumps like you. PTR Nice try. Always running away from your own threads. You don't need to answer. The point of your post OP is clear.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) Nice try. Always running away from your own threads. You don't need to answer. The point of your post OP is clear. Clear? Like how you brought up stadium funding when neither I or the article said anything about it? What's it like in your world, WEO? Lonely? PTR Edited October 10, 2012 by PromoTheRobot
Mr. WEO Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Clear? Like how you brought up stadium funding when neither I or the article said anything about it? What's it like in your world, WEO? Lonely? PTR It's very crowded! Your post had nothing to do with stadium financing? So your posting that article had nothing to do with an assumption that Cuomo's Support of that stadium had anything to do with the Bills stadium funding issue? And your head smacking emoticon accompanying your article had nothing to do with a clear inference that Cuomo would pay for soccer but not the Bills? Again, why did you post it? Don't back down..
