Rubes Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I know, I know, he's an ex-Bill. Get over it. How a punter in Buffalo cost a safety his job in Dallas "Probably making the business feel even colder for Silva, the Cowboys might be on the verge of cutting former Bills punter Brian Moorman, who was signed to fill in for the injured-but-recovering Chris Jones." I didn't realize it was probably a temporary thing...
Punch Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Odd that Silva was on the Bills' practice squad for a month or so last year--- and now he's back. The name doesn't ring a bell.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I didn't realize it was probably a temporary thing... Many people here didn't seem to realize it. I think many people were preoccupied in wanting to scream bloody murder that Moorman was released that they didn't quite process all of the details.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the whole Moorman thing boils down to the Cowboys Pinter got injured and the Bills didn't want the Cowboys to snatch up Powell.
uticaclub Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 The Bills have been terrible since Moorman left
Dragonborn10 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 The Bills have been terrible since Moorman left They were terrible before he left
Beerball Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Odd that Silva was on the Bills' practice squad for a month or so last year--- and now he's back. The name doesn't ring a bell. I am certain that there was one "SUPERBOWL!!!!" thread after he was signed to the PS last season (there always is).
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 I am certain that there was one "SUPERBOWL!!!!" thread after he was signed to the PS last season (there always is). Ralph is cheap.
HOUSE Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Poor Silva, had to leave a "Premier Franchise" then sign with generic brand team
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Poor Silva, had to leave a "Premier Franchise" then sign with generic brand team No kidding. Who are they gonna sign next? John Smith on ABC Street, Anytown, USA?

How a punter in Buffalo cost a safety his job in Dallas I didn't realize it was probably a temporary thing... When they signed him it was just a temporary thing until the young punter they have that they are really high on gets healthy.
FitzShowUsYourTitz Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 The Bills have been terrible since Moorman left WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Get over it. ""It's Division I football! It's the Big 12! It ain't intramurals!"
BuffBill Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 The Bills have been terrible since Moorman left Now that you mention it? Oh nevermind, they have sucked since Chris Mohr left too.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Now that you mention it? Oh nevermind, they have sucked since Chris Mohr left too. However they enjoyed a great deal of success after John Kidd left.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Kind of a misleading threas as it implies moorman has performed poorly. How has moorman done in dallas? Wouldn't be surprised if they stick with him and drop their young guy.

Wouldn't be surprised if they stick with him and drop their young guy. I don't think it's misleading at all. It was taken right from the linked article. Guys get cut for many different reasons.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Brian is not getting any younger.
Best Player Available Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Nothing wrong with playing the key position basically on every 4th offensive play for your career. I'm surprised he can still kick. After all that suck. Great Bill playing on teams that needed his great play. He'll be cut a couple of times then retire. Hopefully Brandon can market a game next year and sign him for a day then retire as a Bill.
