disco Posted January 3, 2005 Share Posted January 3, 2005 I think we can probably all agree Buffalo wasn't ready to make the next step to take on Indy in round 1 of the playoffs. It would appear Mike Mularky and Tom Clements were good picks by TD. McGahee seems to be everything we could have hoped for. Henry will help us with either a ~3rd draft pick or talent elsewhere, and we're only sending Dallas our 18th round pick for their 22nd pick from last year. We don't have to search for a new QB - we've already got one training who has had a year to learn the system. Lee Evans was just a rookie this year! 9 TDs, ~800 yards receiving, ~50 grabs! Offensive Line showed some promise down the stretch. Our defense is still among the best in the league. We responded from a terrible hole to finish with a winning 9-7 season. Sure, there are some negatives...but this is a much longer list of positives than I'd expected after Week 4 of this season. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
