bills44 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 but, on WGR, he just said of the 49ers, "maybe we'll see them in the Super Bowl." C'mon, Stevie. He did say that the team didn't lay down, but that he was embarrassed at times yesterday.
HeHateMe Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Yea... makes sense, he plans on buying tickets this year and going to the game.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I see no issue here. He sounds like a leader(as delusional as he may sound) that is not only embarrassed about yesterday but believes the team is better than they have shown.
jimmy10 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I'm a Stevie Johnson fan, too. I'm a fan of all these guys. I look at that performance yesterday and I don't get angry... I get sad. I wish I could do something to help them.
CodeMonkey Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I guess that's better than saying "we suck so bad we don't even deserve to be on the same field as those guys" ... but not much. His statement is ludicrous after those last 2 games. Something middle of the road would have been smarter.
The Senator Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I believe what Stevie is saying, in his own way, is... 16 and 3 baby!!!!!
Since 1972 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I believe what Stevie is saying, in his own way, is... 16 and 3 baby!!!!! 15 and 4 maybe????
bills44 Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 15 and 4 maybe???? Yeah, the Jets just have our number.

And you didn't just cross it, as much as you obliterated it like it was the Bills' D-line.
John from Riverside Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I think Stevie is being the good leader and sayin the right things.... but I dont think he believes half of that crap....I heard he was EXTREMELY upset after that niner game.

first_and_ten Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Imagine what Stevie could do with a QB that was accurate and could throw a deep ball
DC Tom Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Imagine what Stevie could do with a QB that was accurate and could throw a deep ball Drop that many more passes?
first_and_ten Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Drop that many more passes? LOL c'mon , he hasn't dropped any this year
Peter Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Drop that many more passes? Sadly, he has not had the opportunity to drop many passes this year.
DC Tom Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 LOL c'mon , he hasn't dropped any this year Sadly, he has not had the opportunity to drop many passes this year. I honestly haven't been paying attention that closely. Mostly because when the offense is on the field I'm still laughing hysterically at the last defensive stand... Make that "defensive series". We really can't call them defensive stands. They're more like defensive backpedals, really...
Since 1972 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Yeah, the Jets just have our number. What is Houston's number?
BuffaloBaumer Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Stevie is one of the few guys getting angry as far as I can see. He also said that everyone on the team was afraid to call out anyone of defense. That to me screams lack of leadership. Ray Lewis would have murdered 3 people on his team alone after a performance like that....
