BuffaloBud Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Mike Smith said in post-game presser that the game is now quarterback driven. After seeing the past couple of games that is the resource that this team lacks deeply. INT at goal line is case in point along with numerous other instances. Until this position is filled with a top end talent the rest of it will suffer. I can't give Fitz any more leash.
PearlHowardman Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Thing is, by the time the Bills get a new QB and develop him, the league will do a 180 and be a defense league and our defense will suck.
Punch Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Mike Smith is probably the 10,000,000th individual to make this observation. Despite not successfully addressing it, the Bills also know this to be true. If we go another year without addressing it, then I don't know what the !@#$ else to do, think or say.

Even a re-tread Vince Young is better than Fitz. Fitz has no arm. Mario has no heart. Wanny has no brains.Thank God Jackson and Spiller have legs. They're our only bright spot.
Nuncha Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I don't care how bad your QB is - there is NO excuse for giving up over 1200 yards in two games. WHen the Bears had Rex Grossman a few years ago, did their defense lay down? hell no. That is a BS excuse.

They want to point out everything else instead of dealing with it.

If you blame this game on fitz that's ridiculous

marauderswr80 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 By the time the Bills find a QB for this QB driven league....it will go back to being a run first league!
Mr. WEO Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Jim Harbaugh doesn't think so, smashmouth please Alex Smith shredded us. What are you talking about?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Alex Smith shredded us. What are you talking about? Harbaugh is smashmouth coach, that should be painfully obvious by now, regardless of what A Smith did today
DallasBillsFan1 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Thing is, by the time the Bills get a new QB and develop him, the league will do a 180 and be a defense league and our defense will suck. You are correct sir ...

purple haze Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Fitz does not lead the team on sustained drives. That keeps the D on the field. Fitz cannot hit open WR's down the field which leaves points that could be had off the board. Which combined with the bad D lvs us w/ blowout losses. It's Fitz and the D's fault.
BiggieScooby Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 We play in Buffalo. Get a damn good offensive line and young nobody bruising backs and slam some heads. We need a grass field and a real defensive leader a la Ray Lewis.
purple haze Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Here's some irony for all of us: Leodis McKelvin is one of the best players on the team in his role (kick and punt returns).
RyanC883 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 uhmm....until the defense is actually adequate...thanks. If you blame this game on fitz that's ridiculous They both suck. When the score's are as lopsided as they have been, there is a problem at both ends. On the defensive side we have NO impact linebackers. I'm sure this is factoring into Wanny's (poor) decision not to blitz more. The CB's are young and inconsistent. ON the offense, Fitz costs us at least 2 TD's a game by over/under throwing wide open WR's/CJ.
