BuffaloBillsForever Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 He should be fired on the simple fact that he went "all in" on Fitzpatrick.
DDD Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 The team is quitting on Gailey. Nix has failed in personnel. Play it out then blow it up. That's my theme for the 2012 Buffalo Bills.
DaGimp Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 you can't be any more pathetic than to think that Fitz could be your starting QB
BuffaloBillsForever Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Gailey is also responsible for the coaching. His own failed coaching, David Lee, George Edwards and in hindsight the worse hire of them all Dave Wannstedt.
Hater Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 In my 41 years as a Bills Fan I have never seen a team quit like this one did today
boyst Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 You have to wonder what the conversations are right now at OBD. You know there are calls being made, texts and emails going back and forth.
Hater Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I think if Gailey gets fired it will be Week 7 or 8 but more than likely he makes the rest of the season
Geno Smith's Arm Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I hope there are agents for coaches contacting the Bills, or putting out feelers. This team is ripe for a big change.
Sisyphean Bills Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Would they fire Gailey and promote Wannstedt to interim? Yuck.
mrags Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Would they fire Gailey and promote Wannstedt to interim? Yuck. that's the scary part. No one to take over. I'm guessing Lee? Or maybe Nix brings an outsider in with a half a season tryout. Got me. Not sure what to do at this point.
Punch Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Who the hell would want to coach this team? No one wanted to take the job last time, and it's arguably worse.
HeHateMe Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Worse than the Jauron era..... uhh that is bad. Ship this team to LA or some ****.
PearlHowardman Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 The Chan Gaily era is over, the Ryan Fitzpatrick era is over, the Ralph Wilson era is over. For all intents and purposes, that is!
Meathead Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 well im not ready to can chan. yeah its bad right now but the smart thing to do is let them play it out and see what happens. they DO have talent on this team, and COULD get it turned around, and chan deserves that chance now, if they keep sucking at this level, especially if they lay another record setting egg next week, the pressure cooker is going to crank up like mad. right now they arent even an nfl caliber team. in the three losses they have been utterly incompetant at their jobs, a level of consistent horribleness that is get-somebody-fired bad but if its anybody its going to be wanny. im not a wanny hater but cmon, they cant even execute basic defense most plays now. getting gashed just about every play for huuuge chunks of yards, guys running wide open - AGAIN. rbs hacking off nine yards a pop over and over again. i was glad we got wanny myself, but if they dont stage a dramatic turnaround like right away then the pornstachio is gonna fire himself
BillsVet Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 He should be fired on the simple fact that he went "all in" on Fitzpatrick. I'm not sure if it's Gailey, Nix, or both who settled on Fitzpatrick. Either way, combined they're 0 fer on QB decisions in less than 3 seasons. First Trent, and now RF as the starters not to mention the acquisitions of Thigpen, VY, and T Jack.
CardinalScotts Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 (edited) until we win next week then never mind....put the beer down and take a nap Giving up 50 a week and we are discussing QB....ya find one that puts up 60 a game Edited October 8, 2012 by CardinalScotts

KOKBILLS Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 He should be fired on the simple fact that he went "all in" on Fitzpatrick. Well...If that's the case then Nix should actually go before Gailey...It's one thing for the Coach...It's another for the GM to not only believe the Coach, but also to ignore the possibility... hell the strong possibility that the Coach could be mistaken...It's Nix job to try and improve this Team every day, at every Position...No one on this earth thought Fitz was a Franchise QB...Yet Nix goes 3 straight Drafts and takes one QB...In the 7th Round no less...
offyourocker Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 It is all about coaching. I think we have plenty of talents. Fitz limits the offense due to his inability to go deep. But in the end we have plenty of talents. Give our roster to Belichick and we would make the playoffs.
