Forced to resign at Pitt due to his dismal record – well-respected?...so he was kept in an administration capacity....they must have needed a new....fill in the blank! :censored:

 

Spent 6 yrs at Pitt – dismal.... :thumbdown:

 

Spent 6 yrs in Chicago – dismal.... :bag:

 

Spent 3 ½ yrs in Miami – dismal.... :thumbsup:

Your post is pretty dismal... If you are going to say that someone's coaching records is dismal, back it up with facts or stats.

 

I did a quick scan of Wanny's coaching record and find that really only his Chicago stint can be rated as dismal with a 41-57 record that included one playoff appearance.

 

At Pitt, his record was 42-31 with 3 bowl appearances. At Miami, his record was also 42-31, with playoff appearances during two seasons. Winning records do not equal "dismal".
