Wayne Fontes Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 The frustration I think is 70% towards posters that celebrated his rebirth last year, 20% towards DJ and 10% maybin. Marv Albert says, "Yes".
Punch Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Can't blame him for being drafted in the 1st round--- but certainly I blame for the holdout and missing TC his rookie year. A raw project like Maybin needed every chance afforded him to be prepared for the big jump to the pro game and he whiffed big time. He started off on the wrong foot with his teammates thanks to that as well. I don't hate him, but the fact that stand up guys like Eric Wood and Andy Levitre have little good to say regarding his time here speaks volumes.

biglukes Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Don't understand this incredible hate. Blame Modrak, not an 18 year old kid. Get over it. Yeah, he was more than a few years past 18 when he was drafted.
MiamiGeorge Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I've seen bits of the last two Jets games. Unfortunately, my TV is only 55 inches, so I am not sure if I can see Maybin on it when he does his full 30-yard loop around the QB. Lmaoooooooooooo
BringBackFergy Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Welcome to Applebee's, my name is Aaron, I'll be your server...can I start you out with some drinks"!
KD in CA Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Don't understand this incredible hate. Blame Modrak, not an 18 year old kid. Get over it. 18?? He's 24; and still an untalented, mouthy douchebag. He put no effort into helping the Bills so I sure won't root for him as a Jet. p.s. I love that a 10 tackle year is considered his breakout season!

....lybob Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 you draft a guy who's 50lbs less than the idea weight for the position and you use a first round pick, that's on you- don't blame the toy poodle cause he can't pull your sled and you came last in the Iditarod.
KD in CA Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 The Butch Rolle of sack? That's great. If only sacks were worth six points!
CSBill Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 The Butch Rolle of sack? Ah! A Butch Rolle reset . . . the Ultimate "Rolle" Player, all he did was score touchdowns, that's all
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Ah! A Butch Rolle reset . . . the Ultimate "Rolle" Player, all he did was score touchdowns, that's all And physically punish the man lined up opposite him.
Tcali Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 hes doing very well financially thanks to the formeridiot bills organization And physically punish the man lined up opposite him. right on. Butch was no joke.
Peace Frog Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Bottom line: I was more disappointed in the Bills selecting him on draft day than I was in his performance. As soon as his name was called out at the draft, I screamed at the TV, "HOW THE HELL DO YOU PASS ON ORAKPO FOR THIS CHURCH MOUSE?!?" Alas, it still wasn't any different then us picking Losman or Whitner (instead of Haloti Ngata, grrr) in the first round. Edited September 25, 2012 by Peace Frog
John from Riverside Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 he gets on the field but he is on the bottom of the cheerleader pyramid..... COME ON BRYAN!
Dorkington Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 The obsession with former Bills players continues.
plenzmd1 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) The obsession with former Bills players continues. I must admit I like to kep up with how former Bills and Sabres are playing..always have, always will I guess. Edited September 25, 2012 by plenzmd1
papazoid Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Jets coach Rex Ryan believes OLB Aaron Maybin is ready to take on a bigger role. "I don’t think there’s any doubt," Ryan said Friday of the Jets' 2011 sacks leader. Maybin was limited to situational pass-rushing duties last season, but estimates he's been added to "eight or nine more defensive packages" in camp. He's also up to 245 pounds after reporting to camp at 228 last season and playing at 240. Maybin's "bust" label is fading further into the past. Aug 4 - 11:26 AM Source: Newark Star-Ledger
Saint Doug Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 The best thing he did all year was his simulation of Mario leading up to week 1. Seemed to do the trick.
Guffalo Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 He is alive and well in NJ. He was quoted twice in this mornings paper on the loss of Revis. Nothing extraordinary the usual "we all gotta step up"
