Just Jack Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 This Sunday, should be more exciting than watching the game... http://www.spacex.com/updates.php The single instantaneous launch opportunity for CRS-1 is currently scheduled at 8:35PM ET on Sunday, October 7 with backup launch opportunities available on October 8 and 9.
1billsnut Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Very cool stuff. My brother-in-law is one of the VP's of the company. Their first trip to the space station was a huge success. I'm excited to see the lauch tomorrow.
DC Tom Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 It did a very nice job of blowing up, then recovering to orbit. Very nice work.
CosmicBills Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Is the privatization of the space industry as exciting to anyone else as it is to me? I love me some NASA but opening up the playing field is going to yield some amazing benefits a few generations down the line.
