Joe W Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Buddy said hes an old time scout who likes to get up close to the prospects to smell their breath. Our inthe case of his latest crop from 2010 on to smell their farts. .
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Then the defense lays down to the tune of 48 points to the hapless Jets and 52 points to the Patriots, both division rivals the Bills were supposed to be competitive with this year. Not only that but both the Jets and Cheatriots*** were supposed to be weakened on their offensive lines to start this year… a combination of injuries, unproven players, and marginal vets. We viewed these games as ones where our D-line was gonna win the battles decisively.
CodeMonkey Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 We viewed these games as ones where our D-line was gonna win the battles decisively. In theory, AZ is another one of those teams. We will see in 8 days.

Sisyphean Bills Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 If he was still head of scouting, yes. As the GM, to go scouting on the West Coast in early October? In the middle of the week? How often does that happen with other GMs? Nice to see that he's still heavily involved in that aspect of the game. But as thew GM of the team, he probably has greater responsibilities, such as being the front face for the franchise after another horrendous division loss, and where his marquee free agent signing is taking a beating. It settles one crucial question. He's not asleep at the wheel. Indeed, it appears the wheel minds itself.
