Billy in 4C Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Of the Bills next 5 opponents, 4 are ranked as the top 6 teams in the league. All 4 of those games are away. We will be lucky to be 4-5 at that point. Most likely 3-6 or 2-7. http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2012/week/5
PearlHowardman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I always use the weekly Power Rankings to see where the Bills stack up in the AFC for the playoffs. We haven't been a potential playoff team this year.
Dr. Trooth Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I'm sticking to my initial prediction of 8-8. I'm taking the simple math approach. Since Gailey & Buddy took over they've increased their win total in increments of 2 over the past two seasons. That means next year 10-6 happens... maybe they go .500 in the division on their way to that... but, alas 10-6 ain't quite good enough for a wild card. You'll have to wait til year 5 of the Gailey/Buddy show for 12-4... and that will get them a wild card.... and maybe a home game at that. However, if and 10-6 and/or 12-4 never happen. I deny ever having posted this.
marauderswr80 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 But i thought our strength of schedule was weak!?
BiggieScooby Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 When we beat SF our season outlook will change.
jkrules Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 When we beat SF our season outlook will change. Yea, in the next century!
Rubes Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Well, at least they still have us higher than the Jets, despite the beat down four weeks ago.
DanInUticaTampa Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Lol, they got us ranked higher than the jests. Fools.
inkman Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 But i thought our strength of schedule was weak!? Which is why people need to stop with all the stupid predicting based on the perceived strength of schedule before the season starts.
bobblehead Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I'd say the power ranking folk took it easy on Buffalo this week
mattsox Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 2-7 Finish the season at 5-11 at best. Agreed. Unless our Defense wakes up and starts playing football...
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 the weekly PR is just that. PR. bandwagon balloters. Though I will say a drop of only 2 was unexpected. I was sure it would have been 5 or more.
