Last week, this thread introduced us to a special USA-themed helmet the Tar Heels wore on Saturday for Military Appreciation Day (66-0 win over Idaho).

 

Following in the tradition of Oregon, Maryland, and others, apparently the Tar Heels aren't stopping there. For the first time since the 60s the Heels will wear a white helmet Saturday against Virginia Tech as part of a "white out" promotion:
