Buftex Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I miss the old days when cutting Moorman was our teams's biggest reason for sucking.
May Day 10 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 lol, softly landed one on the 2 in the corner and bounced back to the 5. Good for him though. Glad he is having a good 1st game. Too bad its Dallas or I would be rooting for some playoffs and even a Superbowl for him.
Golden Wheels Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 If he was so vital to the Bills' success, then how come people keep misspelling his name? I like Moorman alot, but this team has bigger problems than punting.
KD in CA Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Does anyone else feel like they want to vomit whenever some writes that a !@#$ing punter was our "best player for a decade." I've read that crap so many times on here and it's almost like people write it with pride.
NoSaint Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Nice "directional" punt by Moorman! 5 yard line.... I'll bet he'll kick a few more good ones in his career. Doesn't mean keeping him is the right move
beerme1 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Wow, one punt and it's started already. Lol and not spelling the name right just adds to the insult
Punch Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 If he was so vital to the Bills' success, then how come people keep misspelling his name? I agree--- if the OP is going to take a tone of righteous indignation over a seeming lack of respect, the least he could do is spell the man's name. Having said that, the snap on Powell's lone shaky punt was very wobbly. He did a good job just to corral it and get a punt off. The hangtime he was booming in warmups was impressive--- like vintage 2004-06 Moorman impressive! He punted a fine game, overall.
djp14150 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 surprised he isnt the holder yet in Dallas....
Geno Smith's Arm Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Anyone else feel like Chan had no right to cut Brian Mooreman? Our best player for the last decade and he is cast aside for a rookie. Mooreman just made a killer kick in his first action as a Cowboy. I just feel that as a fan favorite for so many years Chan had no right to cut him. Just one more negative in my opinion. I would think after all his time with the Bills, and your incredible respect for the guy, that you would have learned how to spell his name.

It's the Big 12! It ain't intramurals!......" Go play another game if you don't think your on trial every week, that someone isn't gunning for your job every day and the head coach has "no right" to cut you. HA! (Badminton called, they are missing a spectator.) PS- why do you think both Jackson and Spiller came back way early to play?? They both will do whatever it takes to be a starter in the NFL. Jeesh! beerme1 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 surprised he isnt the holder yet in Dallas.... Bad week for Moorman. First he gets cut. Now his new team is already disrespecting him huh. LOL
BuffaloFan68 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I'm starting to think that this team is run by a bunch of idiots. Fitz as a starting QB & then the stupid Stache. Very painful.

Grow up. It's a business. Everyone goes at some point. It happened to Bruce, Thurman, & Andre. Far more vital than Moorman ever was.
Beebes Bubble Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Lol and not spelling the name right just adds to the insult Not spelling it right once adds to the insult. Not spelling it right 3 times in 1 post like the OP did, well...
BuffOrange Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 If a coach has a problem with their punter's directional punting, I have a problem with the coach punting too much from bad spots. Like say, 4th&5 from the opponent's 40.
mike6683 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Powell punted very good Sunday. I like him but some bills fans will continue to cry about this move all season. #9 has been inconsistent the last few years.
IDBillzFan Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 You have to wonder, when the Cowboys opted to bring Moorman in for his experience, did they think that experience would include having punted in a losing effort when a quarterback throws five picks?

After signing Mario Williams for $100,000,000 the Bills couldn't find enough money to keep Moorman
prissythecat Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 After signing Mario Williams for $100,000,000 the Bills couldn't find enough money to keep Moorman You do know that the Bills have to pay Moorman his entire 2012 salary still right?
