Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Personnel packages". What gives wanny???
5 Wide Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 All day long..... you could hear him saying 43 (B. Scott) is the Mike. A good run would follow. It's no indictment of Scott.... he should not have been in that position.
The Big Cat Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Moats and Sheppherd were nowhere to be found-- they've been instrumental to our run D.
DaGimp Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 out coached, out played, out hit, out everything
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 Moats and Sheppherd were nowhere to be found-- they've been instrumental to our run D. Â Yes, welker, grok and Lloyd were targeted with all the passes. Could have covered that with a true nickel and left shep and Barnett in.
Mike in Syracuse Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Yes, welker, grok and Lloyd were targeted with all the passes. Could have covered that with a true nickel and left shep and Barnett in. Â If you send a safety or CB blitz on every play you take one of them out of the equation.
boyst Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 My bigger question is why has Morrison not been active? You put big Morrison in the middle, or put him there in a hybrid role and he can handle the run. The guy has been a tackling machine everywhere he's been.

It made sense to try it but um I don't know maybe they should would have went back to traditional 43 after the first dozen 10 yrd runs.
dayman Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Thing is Scott didn't help us in the passing game either...so you actually can balme Scott
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 time get LBs that can cover the pass and the run, ya know like in olden times when we had bennett and Talley and co

I have no idea what Wannstadt was thinking at all. He must have been that little kid just banging away at that square peg in the round hole. The D played terrible, but he had the incorrect personnel on the field so many times it's just sad.
Wayne Cubed Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) I would have much rather them throw the ball or at least force them to throw. instead they ran and threw all over the place. And when they kept running there was no adjustment, at all. It was completely frustrating! Edited September 30, 2012 by Wayne Cubed

Maybe he fell asleep in the booth after the first personnel package was called and didn't wake up until the 4th quarter.  That lack of adjustment is inexcusable.
buffalover4life Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Why are we not sending the Blitz?!! When four men dont get there send 5.... thats how teams beat the pats! wanny should be on a tight leash after this one.
K-9 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 All day long..... you could hear him saying 43 (B. Scott) is the Mike. A good run would follow. It's no indictment of Scott.... he should not have been in that position. Â And just as often you heard "50 is the Mike" and Brady would throw it whenever he had Barnett in pass coverage. All in all, one of the most pitiful displays of coaching prowess I've ever seen. It's bad enough that our players suck but they have NO chance if the coaches put them in the absolute WORST positions to succeed. Â GO BILLS!!!
BillsFan130 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 dont know why wanny refused to try anything else. played nickel all game with bryan scott and got burnt all game when new england figured it out
BiggieScooby Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 2 things that bother me: 500+ yards yielded, 6 turnovers. This game was similar to Super Bowl 27 with the way the 4th quarter went.
Juice_32 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Both losses this year share a common fact. We stuck with our gameplan on d even after it was picked apart. Wanny has got to adjust or nix and chan might do it for him.
boyst Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I will say I did see one stunt early in the game, a DE twist behind the DT. When this happened the DE got right on Brady then he barely got out. Other then that, I saw nothing effective on the DL.
stevewin Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) Pretty sure the package with Scott in there is for him to work to cover the pass catching te's Edited October 1, 2012 by stevewin
