sodbuster Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Welcome to the NFL where parity rules. Turnovers decide games, not players and schemes. Get em, you win, give em, you lose. You call what the pats have done to buffalo in the last decade parity? You think it all has to do with turnovers? No, it does come down to schemes and players. Outplayed, outschemed.

No, it does come down to schemes and players. Outplayed, outschemed. Other than a half a dozen teams that have had perfect storm combinations of management/coaching/QBs , I'd say the NFL has pretty much had parity, where turnovers and injuries determine games and seasons. The Pats are of course one those 6 or 7 teams in the past 10 years. You can be +3 in turnovers to them and still struggle to win, but most times you will. The Pats have better management/coaching and therefore players than most teams. They are a model for how you do it. Buffalo is working the process but it takes time. The Pats were terrible in the 90's, but Kraft/Belechick lucked into Brady and the rest is history.

Good players make good systems. And the Pats have one of hte greatest QB ever.
CodeMonkey Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 We would be 3-1 now if our kicker made 2 of his 3 misses. Don't worry, you still play the Bills twice
8-8 Forever? Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Where is our parity in our own division? What i meant by parity is out of the 16 games each Sunday, i would say 12 of them either team could win straight up, and for sure win if they win the plus minus takeaway battle.
FanofFredJackson Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 The 49ers are not as good as the Jets made them look today, but we do need defensive pressure. I bet we get it the next two weeks and win both games. DREAMER I came up with these predictions after the Cleveland game (before New England yesterday). Obviously i didn't realize the 49ers would be blowing away the Jets like that....but i still think the Bills will rebound to win 1 of the next 2. Clearly this is the best case scenario and more defense like yesterday will result in 6-10 not 10-6. @ NYJ Loss KC Win @ Cleve Win NE (L) @ SF (W) @ Ariz (L) Tenn (W) @ Hou (L) @ NE (L) Miami (W) @ Indy (W) Jax (W) STL (W) Sea (W) @ Mia (L) NYJ (W) Another Dreamer
BuffBill Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Agreed, but who is going to come here with the uncertainty of this franchise's future? Some old coots who need jobs that no other franchise is interested in like Gailey and Nix. I'm on board with this. I don't see either game as a definite loss, especially the Cardinals game. We'll all be feeling pretty good if the Bills are flying east with a 3-3 record and a home date with the Titans on deck. This is a strange league, after all: -- The Panthers, who got absolutely destroyed by the Giants on home turf two weeks ago, nearly pulled out a win in probably the toughest home field in the NFL (Atlanta) yesterday. (Still don't know how Ryan completed that 50-yard heave.) -- New Orleans is 0-4, including a home loss to a Chiefs team we pounded like a Pop Warner squad. -- The freakin' Cardinals, who didn't know who their starting QB was as of the days prior to the opener, are 4-0! It's a long season, put on your big boy pants and let's see what happens. You are correct about the Cards, but sadly for us, they still have 2 or 3 QBs that are better then anyone we have.
LandShark13 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Don't worry, you still play the Bills twice Hmm how come you guys don't have a way to add to someones rep? Anyway

One of the best Defenses in the game and they are probably the most physical team in the league. We just got beat down by a "finesse" team in the Pats.. I wonder how many players will get injured against them.. O yea they shut out a team that put up 48 against us.

Guess what. None of that matters. You can't go anywhere if you go 0-6 in your division.
