FireChan Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Honestly, after the embarrassing defensive performance against teams that aren't completely mediocre, Wannstedt has proven he can't adjust or compete with competent offenses. Nothing changed against the run in the last two quarters, where both backs tore off 100+ yards each. Obviously this guy thinks it'll all work out and he has to do nothing. Embarrassing.
Coach Tuesday Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I agree with this. Would have happened already if Ralph were alive.
DaGimp Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) Yup and Chan and Buddy and Russ and Ralph....fire them all and get real talent Edited September 30, 2012 by DaGimp
FireChan Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 It's actual sick seeing how lackluster and cemented the defensive performance is. The players can't perform by following their assignments and everyone looks horrible. All Wannstedt's fault
Juice_32 Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 It would be nice to mix in at least a few blitzes.
Nyghtewynd Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Wanny has been a loser everywhere he's been for the past ten years. I have no idea why anyone's surprised. But Ralph can still remember his name, so he gets the job.
Tcali Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 was never a wanny fan...the guy is mediocre. the gig in dallas gave him a false rep
FanofFredJackson Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Last week I got criticized for saying the Bills defense has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese. This week it looks like the defense has more holes in it than I initially imagined. Anyone who still wants to criticize me for calling the Bills defense a Swiss Cheese defense obviously haven't been watching the Bills Is Dave Wannstedt the best defensive coach with the best plan the Bills could find? Well the Bills are now 2-2 and I predict within another two weeks the Bills will be 2-4 I knew the Pats were hungry for a victory, and I figured the Pats will win quite easily, so things worked out as I expected them to, although deep inside I was hoping the Bills could do it.
Best Player Available Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Starting to wonder just how much Wannabe had to do with last years D? Clearly, the NFL game has passed this guy. He is clueless.
Dr. Trooth Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 The players have bought into Wanny's system.
Dan Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 There is absolutely no excuse for the piss poor game plan. Yes, it would be nice to get pressure with our fromt 4, but when its clear you're not ... you have to blitz! How is it the Bills' coaches still don't know how to play the Pats*??? Its just beyond excusable.
Best Player Available Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 was never a wanny fan...the guy is mediocre. the gig in dallas gave him a false rep In Dallas he was handed the keys to a Ferrari, he built nothing there.
thewildrabbit Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Sad to say, George Edwards did better with less. I only wonder how long we will have to endure this DC
JTO Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I agree with this. Would have happened already if Ralph were alive.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) The Dallas defense he coached was LOADED with talent. Lot's of high draft picks from Dallas sucking prior, and the Herschel Walker trade. He has always been overrated Edited September 30, 2012 by Matthews' Bag
Rico Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I agree with this. Would have happened already if Ralph were alive. I did not like the hiring in the first place, as I have no use for ex-Dolphins garbage.... and I've given him the benefit of the doubt for awhile now, but enough is enough, Wanny is a chump.
BiggieScooby Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 12 more games. I don't think our defense is playing with intensity. 100 points yielded against first 2 division opponents.....ouch! This team needs to have amnesia.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Brady seemed to be picking on Bryan Scott. Just run at him.
peanuts Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Wanny is still living off his Dallas superbowl victories from 2 decades ago. Mario is a bust.. I would cut him now and take the salary hit. Bench Fitzy & start Jackson.. We need a legit NFL QB. EJ Manual should be the pick.. and grab a young agreesive Densive minded coach.. Same old, same old.

Wannie played a vanilla defense are game! No adjustments, no blitzes! Once NE had him figured out he just sat back and watched his defense get thrown around like ragdolls. What was Wannie doing in the coaches booth, playing with himself? He wasn't watching the game. After it was 21-7, the D played back and didn't go for the jugular. Total fail by the coaches, and one again at the hands of BB.
