ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 (edited) Think the movie Enemy of the State was far-fetched? Think again: http://www.cnbc.com/id/49212482 The drones are coming. Edited June 22, 2013 by ICanSleepWhenI'mDead
KD in CA Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 This is very upsetting. I think I'll go post about it to 900 of my closest friends on Facebook.
DC Tom Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 No big deal. I never do anything wrong for them to catch me at. Plus, my house is ringed with anti-aircraft defenses...
mead107 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 It is only just beginning . Think of the cameras on the back of police cars that scans thousand of plates per hour as they drive around . Cameras at all the intersections.
CosmicBills Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I got nothing to hide. I do. Lots. I'm moving to Niribu.
Jim in Anchorage Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 No big deal. I never do anything wrong for them to catch me at. Plus, my house is ringed with anti-aircraft defenses... Really? I always pictured you living at the fortress of solitude.
Buff_bills4ever Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 (edited) No different than using a helicopter imo, but I do find it kind of funny that my anti-virus blocked several "trackers" when I clicked on the webpage... Edited September 29, 2012 by Buff_bills4ever
DC Tom Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Really? I always pictured you living at the fortress of solitude. With flak. Why do you think it's a fortress of solitude?
/dev/null Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I'm moving to Niribu. So you'll be back here in 3 months?
Jim in Anchorage Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 With flak. Why do you think it's a fortress of solitude? You never read superman?
Pete Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 (edited) Skeet practice if I ever see a drone over Edited September 29, 2012 by Pete
Nanker Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 No worries. They're programmed to avoid polling places as that would be an unconstitutional invasion of privacy. Just move next to a polling place.
Marv's Neighbor Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 No worries. They're programmed to avoid polling places as that would be an unconstitutional invasion of privacy. Just move next to a polling place. What a great idea...check voters ID with Drones!
Chef Jim Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 They've put cameras on all the buses in SF to catch and fine all the cars parked illegally.
BillsWatch Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Forget using them inside the US first; prove they are effectively first on borders first using the military grade ones used to eliminate targets overseas.
B-Man Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Whatever happened to the OUTRAGE ? Remember the widespread anger about the amount of warrantless wiretapping that went on during the years of the Bush administration? Remember the constant drumbeat of dire warnings about this egregious violation of the Constitution, and the media's reminders of widespread public opposition, and the calls for Bush's impeachment? It's safe to say now, in retrospect, that he was really being accused of governing while Republican.

It's safe to say now, in retrospect, that he was really being accused of governing while Republican. And we know how wrong that is - he did not govern. P.S. I was tricked into posting in PPP again, thread moved while I put my first entry into thread.
DC Tom Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 And we know how wrong that is - he did not govern. That's actually the one thing he DID do.
