PromoTheRobot Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 PFT just reported Mankins out. Link in OP. We better not make their banged up O-line look like the Steel Curtain. Balls out, boys. PTR
Doc Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I'd play press coverage and blitz on every down.
Rockinon Posted September 29, 2012 Author Posted September 29, 2012 Now NFL.com reporting. Defensive line are going to have a ball.
truth on hold Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) We better not make their banged up O-line look like the Steel Curtain. Balls out, boys. PTR Yeah exactly. Everyone thought Williams was going to eat up jets RT , instead he came up tiny Edited September 30, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
bigdogtim Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 And Marcia is questionable with toxic shock syndrome. Shoulda used a pad.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Don't get too excited. Lets remember, every time that common sense dictates the Bills should dominate a particular aspect of a game, we fail miserably. See: New York Jets Offensive Line against Bills Defensive Line. Even with Mankins out, I bet the Bills still struggle badly to get to Brady.
PaattMaann Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 blitzing is not the key to beating Marsha Brady, the key is getting pressure with your defensive line...no Mankins does make this a tad bit easier....DTs all day long, hit em in the mouth boys!!!
qdawg in philly Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I want Mankins and Gronk to both play and still beat them. Edelman out though can be a problem for them. Welker will then be seeing double coverage. Gronk will have to stay on the line to protect Brady. They are pretty thin all ready, and if even one of them is not 100% Brady could be in for a rude awakening. The Browns were supposed have one of the best OLs in the league and our defense still sacked Weeden a lot and got 2 interceptions. This offensive line of the Pats will be in trouble. JMO. The Pats are always going to be a threat with Brady steering the offense, but he's only one guy. He needs people around him and that is not looking too good for him. I expect the Bills defense to be a real problem.......Bills were on fire against the Chiefs at home and will be pumped for this one too. Listening to Kyle Williams, he is not taking anything away from the Pats. He says that they are the top dog in the division until someone knocks them out. He is not looking for injury weaknesses, but simply beating them strait up. That attitude is what will turn the tables. The Pats are in trouble. And that's exactly what I preach Rockinon!! ATTITUDE!! That's where it all starts.

MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 so the green solder is at lt thomas, wendell, and connolly are all career backups, and vollmer is hurt with a bad back... ok dline, time to step it up... Don't get too excited. Lets remember, every time that common sense dictates the Bills should dominate a particular aspect of a game, we fail miserably. San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 How is it even possible to play with a torn ACL? Well Thurman Thomas played his whole NFL career without an ACL so I guess it can be done.
qdawg in philly Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I'd play press coverage and blitz on every down. That makes two of us!!
PaattMaann Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 That makes two of us!! then you would both get burnt by Brady, great QBs love when teams blitz often, because they know how to beat it...rush four, win your 1v1s and you get pressure, thats how you successfully man handle him...see: NY Giants strategy
truth on hold Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) Well Thurman Thomas played his whole NFL career without an ACL so I guess it can be done. When the drs scoped thurmans knee they determined the damage didntn require reconstruction, which mankins did have after the super bowl. Edited September 30, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
