AReed Deep For6 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Hate to say it, but too bad we had to switch to that 3-4... i think he would be a nice asset to this defense. but ya cant keep them all
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I liked Poz but the almighty dollar and a lousy coaching scheme pushed him away. Â Now come the Poz haters.
truth on hold Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Hate to say it, but too bad we had to switch to that 3-4... i think he would be a nice asset to this defense. but ya cant keep them all I posted same earlier few days ago. Think he'd be a significant upgrade over Sheppherd and maybe all we'd need to be elite ... better sideline to sideline lateral mobility and more physical. Just what you need in a 4-3 MLB
Captain Hindsight Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 He always seemed to get swallowd by blockers, I was never a huge Poz fan

Big Turk Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Pox was good but injury prone...Sheppard is starting to come into his own.. Â
DDD Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Pox was good but injury prone...Sheppard is starting to come into his own.. Â Agree and not so sure.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I think that if we kept Poz, we might not have gotten Barnett, so even though I liked him, it's probably for the best.
Gugny Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I have a Poz jersey hanging in my closet. Best pile-jumper the NFL has ever seen. Every time he made his own tackle, he broke his arm. Jags overpaid for him and I'm glad Buffalo didn't. What is the statute of limitations for threads about ex-Bills, anyway?
Juice_32 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I liked poz but sheppard is coming into his own and I'd take his upside and salary any day over poz. Do you shep haters even watch games?
aristocrat Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Can't wait for someone to claim he could only tackle downfield.
section122 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 After reading the article I thought damn I wish we kept him... until got to the part where he got a 6 year 45 million contract and thought oh yeah. That is way to much money for poz.
biglukes Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I was a Poz fan when he was here. And when he was here, we complained constantly about how he just wasn't good enough. So now that he's not here, and is on one of the worst teams in the league, he's magically become great and would be the missing piece to being elite? Just more proof of the "anybody is better than our own guys" mentality we have around here. Never mind the guy in question was ours at one point and we deemed him not good enough then.

Jags overpaid for him and I'm glad Buffalo didn't. What is the statute of limitations for threads about ex-Bills, anyway? I was never impressed with Poz while he was in Buffalo. I think we should have a Stadium Wall sub-forum on old players. I for one like to follow them and see how everything goes for them over and after their career.  How many Moorman threads do you tink will be started in the next two weeks? (Over/under = 5?)
boyst Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Funny when he is still in the league in 10 years but he still sucks. The guy has all the right stuff to be a long term player in this league.
HeHateMe Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 He got tackle numbers but I don't remember anything significant that he did here, no big plays. He was so so... the Jags overpaid.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I honestly haven't missed him a bit, but then again I barely noticed him when he was playing for us.
FastFreddy22 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Barnett is an upgrade I wouldn't of paid that for him.
