Wayne Cubed Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Don't have a link yet... but per @mortreport, the deal is in hand. Looking to come back this week. Will update this when I have a link. sodbuster Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) http://www.sbnation....cement-referees I can't help but think this is a bad thing for this weekends meeting with Billy Belly. Edited September 26, 2012 by sodbuster
Punch Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 His twitter doesn't say that. Was it on TV?
Philly McButterpants Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Great . . Just in time for every single call to go the Pat*s way on Sunday . . .
NoSaint Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) His twitter doesn't say that. Was it on TV? I'd assume that's the "no link" part Pft confirms the op http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/26/game-deciding-blown-call-was-what-it-took-to-spur-an-agreement/ Edited September 26, 2012 by NoSaint
Just Jack Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 His twitter doesn't say that. Was it on TV? I'd assume that's the "no link" part I don't see it either.... https://twitter.com/mortreport Every article reports seeing it on his twiiter feed, but it's not there.
Punch Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I'd assume that's the "no link" part Pft confirms the op I get that, but he included '@mortreport' so I thought he may have taken it from twitter.
buffaloboyinATL Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 http://www.sbnation....cement-referees I can't help but think this is a bad thing for this weekends meeting with Billy Belly. I agree. I wish they would wait one more week.
NoSaint Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I get that, but he included '@mortreport' so I thought he may have taken it from twitter. My mistake - I didn't catch his reference and only remembered it as Mort. Pft has the confirmation
The Big Cat Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 http://www.sbnation....cement-referees I can't help but think this is a bad thing for this weekends meeting with Billy Belly. Great . . Just in time for every single call to go the Pat*s way on Sunday . . . Hahaha, I can't rationalize or even center my thoughts, but mine are the exact same!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Great . . Just in time for every single call to go the Pat*s way on Sunday . . . Yes, back to the business of screwing us over. All it took was Bellichick to shove one of the replacements. How much do you want to bet that the regular refs loved him for doing that?
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Mort says his sources indicate they're close to a deal The NFL and the NFL Referees Association made enough progress in negotiations Tuesday night that the possibility of the locked-out officials returning in time to work this week's games has been discussed, according to sources on both sides.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 You KNEW the real refs were coming back the week we played New England. The "cant breathe on Brady" rule will be back and in full effect!
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) http://www.sbnation....cement-referees I can't help but think this is a bad thing for this weekends meeting with Billy Belly. This was also my first reaction Edited September 26, 2012 by drinkTHEkoolaid
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) NFL.com http://www.nfl.com/n..._headline_stack hmmmm lots of talk for the regular hacks to get bcak to work During Tuesday's talks, the owners who have shown no inclination to budge on the referees' benefits issues became involved on a more detailed level in the negotiations, per an NFL source. The federal mediator is said to have kept things on track. Edited September 26, 2012 by BillsFan-4-Ever
CardinalScotts Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Like i have stated one more week with the guys that didnt know ...you dont call penalties on the Patriots would have been nice
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Even if the regulars are back lets hope they remember that Kraft is behind the lockout Edited September 26, 2012 by BillsFan-4-Ever
FLFan Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I heard on NFL Network earlier that they were close to a deal. I would not jump to the conclusion they will work this week's game. That would seem to be unreasonable given the timing.
mountainwampus Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 The 12th man needs to keep these "real" refs under the microscope. If anything shady happens, we need to chant BULLSH*T for 10 minutes just like last weeks Ravens game.
