B-Man Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 WHITE HOUSE: BAD CALL IN FOOTBALL GAME A ‘PRESSING MATTER’ AND ‘VERY DISTRESSING:’ Clearly, given the angry mood of a mob shouting death threats over a distressing YouTube video that insults the very nature of their religion, the White House is working overtime to assuage a seething Midwest on the brink of exploding yet again. Don't forget, while he had time for the View, and to comment of the NFL, he did NOT have time to meet with any other World Leaders while at the U.N. Because, Obama Adviser: 'If He Met With One Leader, He Would Have to Meet With 10' oh......okay then.....we couldn't possibly expect him to do that. http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-adviser-if-he-met-one-leader-he-would-have-meet-10_653033.html
/dev/null Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Hey while he's in New York doing The View and Letterman, he should stop by and do Mike & Mike. It's not like there's anything else going on in New York for a President to do
Nanker Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I hear American Idol is looking for a new judge. That's about his level of competence and interest.
The Big Cat Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 A campaigning president speaks out on a overwhelmingly one-sided issue? File under: not news. I'm not defending the guy, but are you really surprised he kept shtum about a polarizing issue like teacher unions, then commented on a non-brainer that everyone outside Seattle agrees on?

I'm not defending the guy, but are you really surprised he kept shtum about a polarizing issue like teacher unions, then commented on a non-brainer that everyone outside Seattle agrees on? Would he have said anything if this was the Browns vs Dolphins?
TheMadCap Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 A campaigning president speaks out on a overwhelmingly one-sided issue? File under: not news. I'm not defending the guy, but are you really surprised he kept shtum about a polarizing issue like teacher unions, then commented on a non-brainer that everyone outside Seattle agrees on? I am surprised he said anything at all about a football game, yes. He should keep his mouth shut about idiotic things that have no bearing on politics...
The Big Cat Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Would he have said anything if this was the Browns vs Dolphins? If they were good enough to be on MNF, may be. I am surprised he said anything at all about a football game, yes. He should keep his mouth shut about idiotic things that have no bearing on politics... Okay, I'll give you that, that's fair.
DC Tom Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 A campaigning president speaks out on a overwhelmingly one-sided issue? File under: not news. I'm not defending the guy, but are you really surprised he kept shtum about a polarizing issue like teacher unions, then commented on a non-brainer that everyone outside Seattle agrees on? Surprised? No. But that in no way diminishes the observation that it's a demonstration of a COMPLETE lack of leadership.
dayman Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Would he have said anything if this was the Browns vs Dolphins? In fairness neither would anyone else
IDBillzFan Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I'm not defending the guy... Uhhh, yeah you are. Too busy for foreign leaders. Not too busy for The View, Pimp with a Limp and a comment about a football game. It's like we somehow elected Paris Hilton as president.
DC Tom Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Would he have said anything if this was the Browns vs Dolphins? Probably not. Both swing states. The bigger question is: would he have said anything if roles were reversed and Green Bay got the atrocious call?
John Adams Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 A campaigning president speaks out on a overwhelmingly one-sided issue? File under: not news. I'm not defending the guy, but are you really surprised he kept shtum about a polarizing issue like teacher unions, then commented on a non-brainer that everyone outside Seattle agrees on? Observing his leadership incompetence is all.
truth on hold Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Who would think sucking up to cheese heads would figure into the campaign. Without Ryan on the ticket and the importance of Wisconsin Obama likely doesn't comment on it
The Big Cat Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Observing his leadership incompetence is all. And I get that. But I think you'll die holding your breath waiting for a "competent" leader to be nominated by either major party.
3rdnlng Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 And I get that. But I think you'll die holding your breath waiting for a "competent" leader to be nominated by either major party. So, you're saying Obama is incompetent?
The Big Cat Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 So, you're saying Obama is incompetent? By any rational person's definition, a good 90% of elected officials are.
DC Tom Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Observing his leadership incompetence is all. Speaking of which... Just heard on the radio; Obama met with no international leaders while he was visiting the UN. Reason, apparently, was that when meeting with other world leaders, one can't control the discussion, which is critical to a successful campaign. Too busy campaigning to do his job. Nice. And yet, ahead by 10 in the polls.

The Big Cat Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Too busy campaigning to do his job. Nice. And yet, ahead by 10 in the polls. Because: A.) America is stupid B.) He's actually not that bad of a president C.) Mitt Romney is a TERRIBLE candidate D.) Polls are biased. YOU MUST CHOOSE
