jimmy10 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 It's a 1-button refresh in IE. During the Mario Williams courtship people didn't want to miss any news (or our epic thread here on TSW) so they just kept hitting F5. And for the record, it was thanks to yours truly explaining keyboard shortcuts to people who said they were busting their mouses clicking their browser's refresh button.
GOBILLS78 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Powell is coming back - confirmed Nothing on his Twitter page. Yet.
BillnutinHouston Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Powell is coming back - confirmed Link?

cage Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I cannot find any other media outlet confirming the release yet Yes that,... is this being reported anywhere else??
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Until I we get corroboration I'm not buying it. The move makes NO sense at this point in the season.
MaineMoxie Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Moorman's stat line for 2012: 15 punts, 45.5 gross average, 2 downed inside 20, 1 touchback. What's his net average?
biglukes Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 And for the record, it was thanks to yours truly explaining keyboard shortcuts to people who said they were busting their mouses clicking their browser's refresh button. F5 also saves the finger strain of hitting Ctrl-R. Also, how big of a dumbass does it make me that the first time I tried to type this, I hit the F5 key expecting it to show up in the text box.
HurlyBurly51 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) What does the F5 reference mean? Newbie. C'mon man, Mario! Powell isn't in camp anymore, he was released at the cutdown. The Jests tried him out, but didn't sign him. AFAIK, he's out of the NFL, but I guess the Bills could resign him. Confirmed Powell will be taking Moorman's roster spot. Coulda saved $1M if they made this decision coming out of camp. Oh well, younger guy who will probably perform at least as well as Moorman has this year, hopefully better. https://twitter.com/ByTimGraham/status/250637853762150400 Edited September 25, 2012 by HurlyBurly51
UConn James Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 It's not unlike Chan's cutting of Trent Edwards two(?) years ago two games into the season. I know I've seen it before, but just can't remember who the back-up FG holders are. Rest assured that they do plan for this in camp and practice in case a guy gets injured. Not to say there absolutely won't be hiccups.
ChevyVanMiller Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 If it's real, it's a shocker! Powell did look strong, so maybe it will solidify the position for the next decade.
Captain Caveman Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 The Bills plan on scoring on every possesssion. Yup.
Billy in 4C Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Moorman was by far the best player in the preseason. Very suprised by this. Looked pretty terrible last week though - there must have been some locker room stuff after the game - maybe a disagreement on philosophy or something.
cantankerous Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I'm glad they had the balls to do it. Moorman has been a shanker for quite some time now.
Cash Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 From Tim Graham: https://twitter.com/ByTimGraham/status/250640412438564864 Bills cut Moorman apparently for shaky games w/directional punts, which are called by coach. Powell's weakest trait directional/pooch punts.
Matt in KC Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Awesome, now the Patriots can't use any of their film on Moorman. The trap is sprung; they have no idea what is coming on 4th down!
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 What's his net average? 32.7 - 3rd worst in the league
bills44 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 No, I don't think he used one. shanked it wide of the net, maybe?
