Jon in Pasadena Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 No, you have that confused with a massive pile of dark matter The massive pile is often preceded by the gaseous cloud.
CosmicBills Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 We're living in a quantum hologram. That smells like farts.

section122 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Not to turn a funny thread to a serious one but could this be the cause for the global warming phenomenon or is this something that has always been there? Sorry science was never my forte...

/dev/null Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Not to turn a funny thread to a serious one but could this be the cause for the global warming phenomenon or is this something that has always been there? Sorry science was never my forte... From the article: Chandra observed eight bright X-ray sources located far beyond the galaxy at distances of hundreds of millions of light-years A light-year is the measure of distance that light travels within a year. Meaning the light that the satellite observed was emitted hundreds of millions years ago. Therefore the cloud was there hundreds of millions of years ago So considering that the cloud predates the evolution of humans and is at least as old as the time of the dinosaurs, it's highly unlikely this has anything to do with Global Warming® Edited September 25, 2012 by /dev/null
GoodBye Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Lana I'm just impressed that I was able to emit a cloud of BLUE dust. (See photo) How impressive is that?
Nanker Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Remember boys and girls, 299,792,458 meters per second is not just a good idea... IT'S THE LAW!
ajzepp Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I'm just impressed that I was able to emit a cloud of BLUE dust. (See photo) How impressive is that? As long as uranus doesn't convert to sharting, I'm good.
