Not to turn a funny thread to a serious one but could this be the cause for the global warming phenomenon or is this something that has always been there? Sorry science was never my forte... :bag:

A light-year is the measure of distance that light travels within a year. Meaning the light that the satellite observed was emitted hundreds of millions years ago. Therefore the cloud was there hundreds of millions of years ago

 

So considering that the cloud predates the evolution of humans and is at least as old as the time of the dinosaurs, it's highly unlikely this has anything to do with Global Warming®
