From the article: Chandra observed eight bright X-ray sources located far beyond the galaxy at distances of hundreds of millions of light-years A light-year is the measure of distance that light travels within a year. Meaning the light that the satellite observed was emitted hundreds of millions years ago. Therefore the cloud was there hundreds of millions of years ago So considering that the cloud predates the evolution of humans and is at least as old as the time of the dinosaurs, it's highly unlikely this has anything to do with Global Warming® Edited September 25, 2012 by /dev/null
