wnyBacker Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I don't think that he has the mental capacity to memorize routs...he barely has enough brains to know how to return a kick
Kipers Hair Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I swear I had this same exact thought - then I remembered he can't catch the ball
1B4IDie Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 The problem with McKelvin is that he has no ball skills. He is not aware that a pigskin is flying in the air in his direction when he is very near the WR. I don't think he would do well adjusting to a ball thrown his direction even if he were the intended receiver.
Webster Guy Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 And I thought I was an idiot for suggesting Hairston as the H-back on short yardage runs. Nothing McKelvin could do that TJ graham can't. I think the biggest risk with Leodis is ball protection skills. Offensive guys have a lifetime of running with the ball, Mckelvin has far less experience. Turnovers lose games. I did like the Moornan for Fullback campaign though.
Tcali Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 good idea.might as well try it. he catches the ball in open field he is gone. The problem with McKelvin is that he has no ball skills. He is not aware that a pigskin is flying in the air in his direction when he is very near the WR. I don't think he would do well adjusting to a ball thrown his direction even if he were the intended receiver. im not so sure about that. different brain cells used for one vs other.
You herd it hear last Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Leodis would take a lot of passes off the facemask fitz can't throw the ball hard enough for that
