Dragonborn10 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 He had better be fined. Fox got $20,000 just for verbal abuse. If Godell had any backbone he would suspend him for next weeks game. Total deuchbaggery...
NoSaint Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Almost no chance of suspension. I'd be shocked. It wasn't nearly aggressive enough.
Clippers of Nfl Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 he will not be suspended. fined for sure. ps. I hate HATE that mutha. (wish I could type the whole thing)
BillsWatch Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Players get suspended for rest of game of they touch officials, even accidentally. He should be should be banned next game as any player would touching officials after game but won't. In fact tapes will be disposed of for there is no evidence on it.

They can be, but regularly contact gets only a warning - not even a flag on players. Edited September 24, 2012 by NoSaint
#34fan Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) Touched? Burly-chick yanked that poor guy out of his stripes. Anybody "touch" me like that, we are going straight to the MAT. -I'd expect the same if I did it to someone. Edited September 24, 2012 by #34fan
BillsWatch Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Simply not true in the nfl. They can be, but regularly contact gets only a warning - not even a flag on players. Incorrect. Steve Tasker was thrown out of game in last game because he accidentally touched referee and there are other examples.
billsfan89 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 They didn't suspend him for Spygate they aren't going to do anything but a small fine.
Drifter Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I don't believe what Belichick did is worthy of a suspension. I do think the NFL is under greater pressure to do something about the referee issue. I would not be shocked to see a 1 game suspention as a warning to the rest of the leauge.

bbb Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Incorrect. Steve Tasker was thrown out of game in last game because he accidentally touched referee and there are other examples. Exactly what I was going to say. That kick could have easily been called no good. They need to do lasers or something because so many kicks go over the uprights now.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Who the hell care's? that's what I think but if he gets suspended I'm all for it.
KollegeStudnet Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) For sure, he will get fined! I remember reading Bill's lips after he touched the ref...all I could decipher is him saying, "hey, do your job!" Edited September 24, 2012 by KollegeStudnet
Captain Caveman Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Incorrect. Steve Tasker was thrown out of game in last game because he accidentally touched referee and there are other examples. Not incorrect. He said players can be thrown out but regularly are not. How much contact have we seen with officials this season accidental and otherwise? And no ejections for touching an official. Edelman basically punched an official in the face last night accidentally while celebrating a first down (which awesomely was called back for offensive pass interference.)

If Godell had any backbone he would suspend him for next weeks game. Total deuchbaggery... I am a die hard Bills fan but the disrespect for this guy is ridiculous. I thought the kick was good but it should have been reviewed and he deserved an explanation. This was a big, hard fought game by his team and he is a competitive guy. He should definitely be fined because you will have trouble if you don't, but to say he should be out for next game is a bit out there.
BRAWNDO Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Are you kidding the official he bumped will probably have to write a letter of apology, be fined and suspended for rest of the season.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) He should be scolded, but it wasn't that bad. I hope this doesn't make next sundays game more difficult. AND we need our healthy RB's back - Spiller to miss Week 4 crap crap crap That FG was close. Was there multiple angle views of it? Edited September 24, 2012 by BillsFan-4-Ever
