MyHorseAteTheKid Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I hope Chan is right and CJ is only out one game.. Kid is a Huge weapon...
Dragonborn10 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Clavicle fracture would have been easily picked up on x-ray. Probably doesn't need an MRI as any decent ortho-pod that does an exam should be able to tell if it is a sprain or a disclocation. Doesn't matter though as they will throw him in the scanner as soon as he wakes up Monday.
MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 man, hope fred can come back for the pats game!
marcre Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Hopefully he's not out long. Huge blow losing him for even one game.
CJPearl2 Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 We need him or Fred against NE. Hopefully we will have him back for the SF and AZ road games.
MHS75 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Hey guys, im out to sea on deployment. We dont get much bandwith out here so I can only load the page up once a hour. Can somebody update this post on C.J.'s injury? Thanks and Go Bills Best wishes Shipmate. Just left the USN after 30 and came right back home to Cheektowaga. Doesn't get any better than this!
It's in My Blood Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The Toronto Sun claims Spiller out for at least 4 weeks...wtf? "Spiller, who filled in spectacularly for injured starter Fred Jackson, running for 292 yards through the first two games, is likely lost for a minimum of four weeks. Jackson, who injured his right knee during training camp, is a possibility to return next week." http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/NFL/Games/2012/09/23/20224866.html

djp14150 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Depends on the grade of the injury. Since he is a running back and this isnt his primary carrying of the ball he could play sooner because he still run. If this is very minor he could play next week given a cortisone shot if you specially design plays to try and limit shots to the shoulder such as a receiver in screens. He couldnt use the hurt shoulder to try and stiff arm players or blocks.
TheMadCap Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I'll go on record right now. NO WAY Fred Jackson plays next week...

Spiller, who entered the contest as the league’s leading rusher through the first two weeks.' Second year running back? This person is clearly confused.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I'll go on record right now. NO WAY Fred Jackson plays next week... I'm with you. Frankly, I'd rather Jackson and Spiller rest up over the next two weeks. These next two games are not going to be pretty, and I'd rather have those guys healthy for our easier back stretch
The Poojer Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 That's Canadian weeks...much less in American time The Toronto Sun claims Spiller out for at least 4 weeks...wtf? UConn James Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 FWIW, during halftime highlights in the late game, Cowher just said it was a shoulder sprain.
BiggieScooby Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Emmitt Smith played with this injury just fine. My guess? Spiller plays in 2 weeks.
Nanker Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Gailey just said its not a collarbone. Probably out for Pats*. SPEAK UP! I hope they give him something to help him sleep. Whatever it is, I'm sure it hurts like hell. Get well, CJ! Man, you have no friggin' idea, if it hasn't happened to you. It's intense.
