jonramz Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 (edited) I know it's a bit late... but I enjoyed this so much I still wanted to post about it. On the last play of the 3rd quarter... the Chiefs tried to block Kyle Williams w/ the fullback. It didn't work too well. http://yardsperpass.com/?p=114 BTW, they also trapped him several times using the same play that the 49ers used against the Lions so successfully. Don't be surprised if we start seeing more of that. -Jon @yardsperpass yardsperpass.com Edited September 21, 2012 by jonramz
Stl Bills Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 (edited) Go to BB.com and watch this weeks video of "inside the trenches with Andy Levitre", His "guest" this week is KW and they joke about the same play. jonramz Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 haha, I didn't see that before... good video. Thanks!

It's vital that the LB and DE fill those gaps when it happens. GO BILLS!!!
snamsnoops Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 That was great! Kyle Williams has 2 be our MVP for the last 4-5 years (except last year) He is back and i am so glad he is part of this team. Great just great!
FLutieFLakesPLZnoOJ Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Don't know what the heck the chiefs were thinking on that pick-up...Kyle destroys the O-lineman so your gonna block him with a FB???
The Voice of Truth Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Hahaha. I saw that highlight on buffalobills.com. I started cracking up. He ran through him like he was a four foot snowman haha. It was almost like he the fullback wasn't even there there.

ColdBlueNorth Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Kyle is a beast and not to start the whole Mario complaining thread again, but on the stunt where Dareus let Kyle loop under him the offensive lineman that picked Kyle up had a firm grasp of his helmet by the face mask and ear hole. Kyle still tossed him aside and got the sack when Cassel stepped up. I am not sure if I like the new no holds barred NFL, but our boys should be coached to take advantage of the same thing as long as the scrub refs aren't calling it.
DreReed83 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 It's not like they tried to block Kyle with a FB on purpose. Fitz threw a ball straight to Cromartie in our first game. Buffalo isn't a flawless team so I don't know what's so funny here.
Big Turk Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Really like how the D used some zone blitzes last week to confuse things...
hondo in seattle Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Cool vid, thanks. In Buffalo we know Kyle is a beast but nationally Mario is far better known. Maybe this year changes that.

Buffalo isn't a flawless team so I don't know what's so funny here. This is an interesting perspective complete with a pertinent comparison.
Orton's Arm Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 haha, I didn't see that before... good video. Thanks! I was surprised at how much bigger and stronger Kyle Williams looked compared to Andy Levitre. Kyle is definitely a beast!
Wagon Circler Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Don't know if anyone else noticed in the Giants- Panthers game but the G-men left their running back Andre Brown one-on-one to block DE Charles Johnson and that was on purpose! That didn't work either.
