BenchBledsoe
Missing a crucial 28 freaking yarder? Short/squib kick offs consistently putting the Steelers in good field position to start? That onside kick where we had no opportunity to jar it free? Our idiot kicker MUST must have gotten liquored up before this game. Let him drink elsewhere this coming offseason. He is a tremendous liability in this parity filled league. They simply cannot go into next year with this idiot as our kicker.

Greg de'Ville
Booth Lusteg reincarnated. That's Lindell. You just KNEW somewhere along the line he would screw up in a bigtime situation.
Mike in Syracuse
That would have been priceless if someone would have said that!

Just call him "Murphy's Law" Lindell. . .

Corp000085
Except the onside kick was perfectly executed on Lindell's part. AD, he actually shanked a deep kick. Because of the angle, it just appeared to be a mediocre onsides kick.
BenchBledsoe
Except the onside kick was perfectly executed on Lindell's part. 189166[/snapback] How do you know that was perfect execution by Lindell? Because you say so? Yeah, it was perfect . . . except for the part where we had absolutely zero chance at recovering it. It was lobbed up directly to a Steeler behind a wall in front of him that we had no chance to get through.

The best way to get out of a hole is to stop digging. The ball and the coverage team reached the impact point at the EXACT same time. The Steelers wall did a good job of holding off and the BILLS players (McGee was one) didn't show the required ball awareness to make the play, while the single Steeler that had a chance DID. They deserve credit for making the play. PERIOD. There was NOTHING wrong with that kick.

The Steeler caught the lob kick without being hit at all. The kick was slightly too deep. Yes, the Steelers made the play. . . an easy play because the kick was far from perfect. You can post all you want about this, there's no convincing me that Lindell executed that kick perfectly.
