BuffBill
Without those videos the NFL would never have been as popular. Who would have thought his father Ed would have out lived him, especially after watching the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies last summer. I didn't realize he was fighting brain cancer but that would explain him being bald in Canton. RIP. What a broadcast legend.

RevWarRifleman
Rest in peace, Steve. What a great body of work he & his father did for pro football. He kind of "grew up" in his career so to speak, during the early years of the AFL. Right along with the rest of us Boomers. He'll be sadly missed. Buftex
Sabol and his father made a huge imprint on the NFL without ever putting on a helmet. He will be missed, but his influence will be felt, I suspect, by everyone who enjoys the NFL. RIP Steve Sabol.

Charles Romes
Sympathies for Ed who just turned 96. The worst thing imaginable to lose a child no matter what age. Its pretty much impossible to keep clicking when the channel scan lands on one of their films.
