GoBills! Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Just to give some arguement about the Bills offense, they are leading the league in touchdowns with 9 only baltimore has 8 the next the rest are at 7 or less..Also currently ranked 3rd in total points for.. If our D can lock it down like they did last week they will be joining some nice company if you lead in those categories...everyone says its a pass happy offense first league..Well as long as we are scoring touchdowns like we have there shouldnt be any offense complaints... Go Bills !!! Ps I know its early but its a interessting find and I thought I would share... Edited September 18, 2012 by GoBills!
BillnutinHouston Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Cool. They are also #1 in rushing yards per game.
DC Billin' Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Fitz also leads the league in TD's thrown. Pretty wild for how bad he has looked at times. Go Bills
Billshank Redemption Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 those are some pretty interesting statistics especially seeing that were actually playing some pretty decent defenses. Definitely dont want to sleep on cleveland though, especially since they have had our number the past few years its crucial to get the W.
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Bills are also the only team that is 100% in the redzone.in completing TDs. Team still has me worried in a lot of areas.... even though fitz didn't throw an INT in the last game, I am not convinced yet that his intereception problem is cured yet. Cleveland should be a good test. It would be a better test if their star CB was playing, but I think he is suspended for this game? Eiether way, I would rather have a W than test fitz. We can test him more with the 49ers D. And the pats* offense should be a good test for our defense. We should have a really good idea where this team is after week 5. If the 49ers D doesn't completly tear us apart, I would be surprised.they are destroying teams right now.
RevWarRifleman Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 We lead the league in Red Zone TD's too. Go Bills!!!
K-9 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Only one word comes close to capturing the true essence of our offensive machine: JUGGERNAUT! GO BILLS!!!
Billsrhody Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Fitz is also 27th in the league in completion percentages at 54.9%. That has to change, he is missing easy throws.
KGun12TD Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 How about turnovers? DO lead the league in that too? How about stressed-out fans? We must lead the league in that!
eball Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 This is certainly better than leading the league in NCAA touchdowns.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 This is certainly better than leading the league in NCAA touchdowns. or CFL rouges.
RevWarRifleman Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Only one word comes close to capturing the true essence of our offensive machine: JUGGERNAUT! GO BILLS!!! K-9, have U been eating some of those special dog bisuits again? Please, try to show a little emotion, ok?
KD in CA Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 This is certainly better than leading the league in NCAA touchdowns. I was wondering what kind of touchdowns the other teams have been scoring.
t317 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Also... According to espn qb rating Fitz is 16th and the Brady is in 23rd spot. Edited September 18, 2012 by t317
tennesseeboy Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 yeah it is early..but it is a good sign.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I don't care what the stats say, everyone that watched the games can sense that Fitz is struggling, and that they are running the ball to keep him from ruining the drives. Passing has become a last resort, and though some here think that's great, he needs to get some consistency or the Bills are going nowhere.
Heitz Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 But we still suck, right? PTR Worst. Bills. Team. Ever.
