Fan in Chicago Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Anyone watching? Three INTs by Manning so far. Denver's D has managed to contain the damage Edited September 18, 2012 by Fan in Chicago
John in Jax Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Watching....Yes, Manning looks like crap so far. Falcons are gonna regret that they didn't get more points (more than 10) off the 3 picks.
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Fourth turnover? Edited September 18, 2012 by NoSaint
John in Jax Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yep, but terrible job by the technical director of showing the fight LIVE....instead we got crowd shots. WTF?
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) That was ugly. Officials were a mess. Letting that fight break out? How'd Atlanta get that ball? Denver landed on it and came out with it but atlantas ball? Edited September 18, 2012 by NoSaint
Fan in Chicago Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Looks like NHL on turf Edited September 18, 2012 by Fan in Chicago
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Players shoving refs off the pile, ref getting his hat knocked off in the fight? That was real ugly.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I have had as many glasses of wine as Denver has turnovers think I am no longer able to pay much attention
John in Jax Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I did think that someone..or maybe a couple guys...were going to get ejected for that chicanery.
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) This is a disaster. It's been what, about 5 plays, a challenge, several flags, a fight and a questionable fumble recovery in the last 15 minutes and the refs at the center of a huge mess the whole time? Edited September 18, 2012 by NoSaint
John in Jax Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 John Fox is gonna have a heart attack! lol Also, Gruden just said that the game has been "hard to watch." From my end, it's hard to listen to, what with Tirico & Master of the Obvious JG. Getting rid of Jaws was the WORST thing to do.
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 "honestly it's embarrassing - the control is gone, the officials can't maintain it"
John in Jax Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 If I hear them call Gonzalez a hall of famer one more time, tv's going to mute.
Special K Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 This officiating debacle on national TV may just be enough to get a deal done with the Ref's before the games next week.
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) This officiating debacle on national TV may just be enough to get a deal done with the Ref's before the games next week. It would still be weeks til the regulars come back I saw shades of this all over the place yesterday though. I suspect it's going to get worse before better if these refs don't get real confident real quick Edited September 18, 2012 by NoSaint
Drewgetz Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 wow, what a game. This Will speed up the ref change over. Goodell has to be saying "well, I guess it's time." Manning, 3 int in 1st qt. Minus fantacy points at that point. Denver looks like the Bills last week. Atlanta looks like the Bills this week. The Best part of this game tho was when big Willie hit a wall on the 3rd or so play of the game. He took a few small steps back and fell on his *ss. This will def be on NFL replay, deserves a watch. John Fox looks like an absolute fool. Refs look worse... 1st quarter took an hour, I wonder how often that happens. Without injuries. This will be one of the most talked about games of the week and it actually deserves it. It's not even half over yet! 6-7 fumbles so far? I lost count.
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 It'll be 1030 east coast for halftime time. That seems waaaay late. No? What a catch If they show the refs film in stadium why don't we get it on tv. Seems logical.
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 You posted this in the game thread, them started a new thread?
NoSaint Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 What damage is managed. All I see is the damage the Denver team has caused. If there were no commercials then sure, I'd agree with that. LMAO @ Denver Drinking a bit tonight?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Demaryius Thomas continues to emerge as a great receiver. Julio Jones meanwhile has dropped a couple. Most everything has gone Atlanta's way and yet their lead doesn't appear very secure at the moment. In spite of the near unwatchability of the first half, this could be an interesting second half.
