RkFast
47% of Americans who vote for O want welfare and FREE handouts? And that they are dependent on government? 47%? Does that include the Corporate Welfare types? Look up Waterford Va in loudoun County and tell me that 47% of those people that live in that wealthy community are dependent on governmen! Last year, 22 percent of people who didn't owe income taxes were elderly people on Social Security, and an additional 17 percent were students, disabled people or the unemployed. OMG Myth will say anything Clueless and out of touch with America - racists says what? Romney seems to be referring to the estimated 47 percent of Americans who did not owe federal income taxes in 2011. ---------------- Does he not know that of those 47% of Americans many are WHITE and live in the South? obviously not. How ironic for a very wealthy man who doesn't want to pay taxes EITHER Youre an !@#$.
Gary M
----------- Who builds and maintains roads and bridges? The facilities you stop at o the highways to take care of that call of nature? Who maintains and services the Parks and Recreation areas in your area? Who pays for the Police and Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Units? Who pays for the court systems and the jails to house criminals? Who pays for the Military, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA? The rich do.

BillsFan-4-Ever
Agreed. BillFan, you're giving the other Obama supporters on here (which is very few to begin with) a bad name... Who said I was an Obama suproter? I point out as much contrived crap against the R's as they dish out against the D's. And they don't like it. Which of these statements is wrong? Myth is out of touch with America? The very wealthy do not want to pay taxes either? A good number of the 47% of Obama supporters with a low income who don't pay taxess are white families? That the government doesn't pay for police, or roads or the military?

How do you describe your ranting's against everything perceived of Obama? Obama's Presidency can be summed up in two words. I'll make it even easier to understand by using two one syllable words Epic Fail and yes the racist comment was meant to tick you guys off. Are you familiar with the boy who cried wolf? Pretty much sums up how people feel when you start slinging the Racist® accusations around Yes I am, and as I see it many of the cries come from the R's side. You know the party that wanted to see Obama fail. I voted for Bush in 1999 and I regretted his re-election like many R's do today, but I NEVER said I wanted to see him to fail. That's very un American. Yes you can take it as a dig, but it rings of truth ------ Let me apologize for irritating the R's by falsely accusing Myth of being a racist. Buftex
The reason this looks bad for Romney is because the entire media will now spend the entire week about this "secret" video. Not about people dying in Egypt. Not about the WH lying about the deaths being about a movie. Not about filmmakers being hauled away because of their free speech. Not about 24 million Americans can't find work. Not about 16T in debt. Not about 9 million on food stamps. No. Mitt Romney said what everyone believes but few will admit, and that will carry the news all week: the people on the government dole will never vote for him and will NEVER get off their asses to take care of themselves. Him dismissing the 47% is no different than him dismissing NY and CA. Neither want what he's offering, so there's no use wasting your time trying to help them out. Period. What you're watching is a person who addresses problems he can affect. It starts with dismissing the problems that refuse your help. Successful business people know this. Progressives in bubbles do not. God...you are so !@#$ing smart... if only we could run everything like a successful business. Conservartives in bubbles have all the answers to their problems...why can't everyone get on board? Edited September 18, 2012 by Buftex
B-Man
How Dare Romney Remind People of “Julia!” The Democrats think Romney just self-destructed by pointing out, um, THEIR ENTIRE STRATEGY. “The economy is collapsing, our embassies are being overrun, our diplomats are being murdered, and Obama doesn’t know what to do about any of it except for his usual plan of lying his ass off. So he and his enablers in the media hope you’ll be distracted by Romney’s ‘gaffe’ of criticizing the Democrats’ strategy. They hope you’ll be offended that Romney pointed out what the Dems have been telling you your whole life: that you need the government to provide for you, that you can’t go a single day without a handout. They hope you’re as credulous as the people who voted for them last time.” Well, that’s pretty much their only hope at this point. Secret Romney Tape Means We Can Finally Stop Talking About Obama’s Failed Foreign & Domestic Policy! For the slow-learners in the press corps, the reason it’s bad when nearly half the electorate doesn’t pay income tax isn’t that they’re somehow parasites. It’s that people who don’t have skin in the game don’t care about the game. In a better world, everyone would pay at least some income tax — enough to feel it, say 5% of gross income — and it would go up and down every year in proportion to government spending. If that happened, there would be political pressure to control government spending, and we wouldn’t have the $16 Trillion debt. Don’t, however, expect our corps of bylined Democratic operatives to stress that point, even if by some chance they manage to grasp it. Plus, an excellent point about the Khalidi tape: Well, the LA Times has a “secret” video of Barack Obama speaking at a party for a famous radical Palestinian, Rashid Khalidi. They’ve been sitting on it since before the 2008 election, and they won’t let voters see it. Why is that? Because they’re covering for him. Which bears repeating over and over an over again. .
