JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Not the best - high of 60 with 40% chance of showers. Let's hope that changes... http://www.weather.com/weather/weekend/Cleveland+OH+USOH0195:1:US
hondo in seattle Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Inclement weather normally hurts the passing game more than the running game. Since our run offense & run defense are both better than our pass offense and pass defense, we would benefit from crappy weather.
Charles Romes Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Wind can hurt the passing game. Bad footing is often a bonanza for the passing game since wideouts are often wide open and there is no traction for a pass rush.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 The last few times we've played Cleveland have been some of the worst in the history of the NFL. I'd rather not sit thru that again.
biglukes Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 The last few times we've played Cleveland have been some of the worst in the history of the NFL. I'd rather not sit thru that again. It does seem like the universe conspires to make games against Cleveland as ugly as possible.
bearc012 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Who cares about the weather... we're a SMASHMOUTH team now. (only half-kidding)
Captain Caveman Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Inclement weather normally hurts the passing game more than the running game. Since our run offense & run defense are both better than our pass offense and pass defense, we would benefit from crappy weather. Since Cleveland's run offense and defense are also much better, I'd say it's a wash.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Not the best - high of 60 with 40% chance of showers. Let's hope that changes... http://www.weather.c...H USOH0195:1:US sounds like good football weather to me
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 The last few times we've played Cleveland have been some of the worst in the history of the NFL. I'd rather not sit thru that again. Now we know the reason for bad weather in Cleveland.
Steve O Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 The long range forecast for yesterday's game was pretty bad as well...can't put much stock into anything more than a two day forecast
