PISSCHUNK Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Instead, we tried forcing it into tight coverages to our 3rd string TE and worthless #3 WR from LSU. Seems like we were coaching not to lose. Everyone contributed to this loss guys. Drew, Eric, Josh, Willis, Shaud, special teams, the defense, lindell and most of all, the offensive gameplan. We lacked aggressiveness in our playcalling. We didn't dictate. Knowing they were gonna have backups in the game, we held back and played into their hands. Very frustrated. Late
rastabillz Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Your right. I think even Sam Aiken caught more balls than Lee Evans
bleedinblue Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 The Steelers had 8 and 9 in the box all day, someone was one on one out there. The refusal to go deep was an embarrasment.

Mix in the mistakes and we were finished. reed has to go and we need Eric to stop dropping easy passes and find another threat to make defenses fear us. Late
ubhockey Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 AMEN. I was screaming for them to throw downfield and being at the game I noticed their safeties were cheating up all game. The opportunities were there, the playcalling and QB weren't.
Mark Vader Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I was wondering the same thing. Why did it take us so long to get Evans invovled today?
