There were several after the play 'discussions' amongst the opposing linemen today.

Methinks these guys just dont like each other,

Bills lines (O + D ) dominated today. Good to see that.

Cassel was pressured a lot.

Wood: We won’t accept cheap shots

Posted by Chris Brown on September 16, 2012 – 7:49 pm

There were a few scrums after the play between the Chiefs and Bills on Sunday, and Kansas City appeared to be the initiators due likely out of frustration in a lopsided game. But the Bills made it clear they’re not going to be taking any cheap play from an opponent lying down.

“Two plays in a row they’re taking cheap shots at us,” said Wood. ”They did the same thing last year in Kansas City. You start getting a team down, you’ll see their true colors. And the last two years, we’re not just gonna sit back and take it. We got a pretty physical group up front, and if they wanna take shots at us, were gonna take them back at them.”

One play in particular late came at the end of a 20-yard C.J. Spiller run in the second half, where he was slammed to the turf by a Chiefs’ linebacker. Buffalo’s linemen stepped in quickly and made sure the message was sent that they’re not going to let an opponent manhandle their feature back.

“Some stuff after the play, where theyre trying to take a guys arm out of the socket, and twist a guys head under the pile,” said Wood. ”We’re not gonna stand for that.”

Yeah, from the stands I remember seeing Levitre and Wood flipping their sh*t on a few occasions, pointing at Hali and jawing at the refs. Speaking of which, you can really tell how much players are working the replacement refs in general, seemingly much more so than you normally see with the regular refs.

I love this. This is what want out of the team I cheer for. Win or lose, just show some passion. Too many times over the last decade, I've felt that I care more about the result than the players do.

If that jackhole was literally trying to twist their necks, then further action should be taken. That is absolutely unacceptable and potentially career and even life threatening.

If the league won't deal with the issue chop block him until he's badly injured.
