BuffBill Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) It certainly looked to me that Bowe's second foot came down clearly and unequivocally out of bounds. I thought all TDs were reviewed. Why wasn't this one reversed? All scoring plays and turnovers are reviewd, but this one wasn't overturned because both of his feet were clearly in? Even if it wasn't doesn't mean they would get it right anyway, they made more mistakes on reviews in the Jets game then on bad calls themselves. Edited September 17, 2012 by BuffBill
Malazan Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 It was reviewed and determined to be a valid touchdown. Once again the new officials performed up to the NFL's high standards. You should probably note that the officials responsible for the replay are not replacements. It's the same guys.
Billsrhody Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Yea I'm not sure what some of you guys were looking at... both feet were in
BuffBill Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Yea I'm not sure what some of you guys were looking at... both feet were in I don't think it is more then one guy, just the OP?
PTS Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) I don't know what the OP is talking about. He was in bounds and there is NO question about it. Edited September 17, 2012 by PTS
BuffaloFan68 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 It was the long play before the TD that was a blown call. The chiefs shouldn't have been down that close in the first place. IJS
Stealth Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 when I first saw it also thought he was out, but he was def in bounds.
prenzoni Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 The replay official wanted to beat the traffic too.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Yea I'm not sure what some of you guys were looking at... both feet were in Doc occasionally takes his own meds
Maybe Someday Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Here's the video. Look at the final replay. http://www.nfl.com/v...we-scores-again This replay very clearly shows both feet in bounds. Unless he was juggling it or something, I’m not sure what the problem is.
John from Riverside Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Honestly it looked he his foot was out of bounds......but they were so far down I didnt really care. I certainly would have cared if it were close
Doc Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Doc occasionally takes his own meds The 2nd foot was out. Never mind the push-off.
West End Stench Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Both feet were in, and it was also reviewed by the booth.
FLutieFLakesPLZnoOJ Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Both feet were in because Bowe is on my FF Team.
stony Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Both feet were in because Bowe is on my FF Team. Finally a logical answer.
LiterateStylish Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) wrong He was definitely in.... Edited September 17, 2012 by LiterateStylish
Dr. K Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 He was definitely in.... Thanks. Sorry to have caused needless strife.
rsxfirefighter Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I was watching the game with my brother. He insisted Bowe was out of bounds. I insisted he was in and we watched the replays. None of the replays showed a good view of his 2nd foot as it was close to the white bounds paint. My brother insisted he was right. This is where technology came in handy. I clicked rewind on my DirecTV remote and went back to game film. Paused it just after he caught the ball and placed his 2nd foot down. You could cleanly see Blue turf between his foot and the white bounds paint. It was a good TD. I didnt like it because I actually had the Bills Def playing and it hurt me. But it was the right call
