Dr. K Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) It certainly looked to me that Bowe's second foot came down clearly and unequivocally out of bounds. I thought all TDs were reviewed. Why wasn't this one reversed? Edited September 16, 2012 by Dr. K
Astrojanitor Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 because it was worth only 6 points and not 29. So no one cared.
Dr. K Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 Here's the video. Look at the final replay. http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/0ap1000000062671/Dwayne-Bowe-scores-again
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Because Bowe was on my fantasy team...
Max997 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Bc they wanted to give you the chance to use unequivocally in a sentence
stony Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 It certainly looked to me that Bowe's second foot came down clearly and unequivocally out of bounds. I thought all TDs were reviewed. Why wasn't this one reversed? Because his foot was in.
stony Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 wrong I won't even begin to argue over an inconsequential play at the tail end of a Bills' route, but it looked like it was a great catch and his foot was in. Agree to disagree.
Hater Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Why is this a Topic it didn't effect the games out come
Roger Goodell Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 It certainly looked to me that Bowe's second foot came down clearly and unequivocally out of bounds. I thought all TDs were reviewed. Why wasn't this one reversed? It was reviewed and determined to be a valid touchdown. Once again the new officials performed up to the NFL's high standards. I won't even begin to argue over an inconsequential play at the tail end of a Bills' route, but it looked like it was a great catch and his foot was in. Agree to disagree. *rout* Why is this a Topic it didn't effect the games out come *affect*
Dr. K Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 I agree it did not affect the outcome of the game. I was just surprised. I'd like to see the actual reply from the broadcast, as it looked pretty clear there.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 unless you had an ungodly points spread or it ruined your FFL who cares. I see the game as won 35 - 3 final score. 2nd stringers and prevent.... it didn't matter at that point.
mountainwampus Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Both feet were in. It was clearly visible in the HD broadcast replay.
Mr. WEO Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 It was reviewed. All TDs are. It was a TD, clearly.
CodeMonkey Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Both feet were in. It was clearly visible in the HD broadcast replay. Agree. At the very least it was close enough not to be able to overturn. Certainly not "clearly and unequivocally out of bounds" as the OP contends.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Because no one cared. Um, when you're playing against Bowe in fantasy, you care. Stupid garbage tds. Dammit.
clownments22 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I won't agree to disagree with anyone on this. He was definitely in bounds.
