Optometric Insight Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Give me anything to not look forward to for this season? Being 2-1 is exciting because we know the Pats are going to be crushed by us D was amazing with coverage and pressure Fitz is good as ever when he's not throwing it. And who knows what's up with Spiller. Go ahead, I would love to hear this...

GG Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Yes, let's hear it here. Way to respond to a clutch situation. Great game plan and execution. Leading with Spiller all the way. Maybe the world is beginning to turn, especially the way the Pats* game just ended.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Yeah. I would take the Dolphins winning and the Pats losing any week. The Jets game isn't a gimmee either. I could see the Steelers taking that one.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Fitz still looks terrible really not crisp and no tries downfield
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) Fitz still looks terrible really not crisp and no tries downfield Against a good team, close game, that would be the difference maker. Edited September 16, 2012 by BuffaloBillsForever
xsoldier54 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I'm not going to get too excited. They played well at home, which is what they are supposed to do. Much better than last week, but they need to show me some consistency for a few weeks before I am convinced that they will be a good team this year. A lot of good things today, now let's keep it up for a few more weeks.
PS 56 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Fitz still looks terrible really not crisp and no tries downfield I know...maybe it's another rib! I thought the Quaterback coach was taking care of his mechanics? He obviously has a lot of work to do.
Dorkington Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) I think I'm back at base hopefulness now. Not confident, but no longer thinking the season is a waste. They showed exactly what they needed to this week. Edited September 16, 2012 by Dorkington
scotty0424 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Here isn't a verb, and Fizpatrick isn't the QB this team needs to be a consistent winner. They can't play the Chiefs every week.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I think I'm back at base hopefulness now. Not confident, but no longer thinking the season is a waste. They showed exactly what they needed this this week. That is a very sensible conclusion.
bowery4 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I am happy they kicked butt, but Chans play calling can be maddening, After the half wtf was that? And I think Darius is my new hero.
LiterateStylish Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I feel a lot better after watching Arizona handle NE. I trust that Chan will study the Arizona game type and key in on what they did to throw Brady and Co off of their game. 3-1 doesn't seem unreasonable anymore.

San-O Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 If they can limit the pass attempts by Fitz, 10-19 will work, or even fewer, the Bills have a chance to win games. Look at all the games he's played for the Bills.

Being 2-1 is exciting because we know the Pats are going to be crushed by us D was amazing with coverage and pressure Fitz is good as ever when he's not throwing it. And who knows what's up with Spiller. Go ahead, I would love to hear this... Fitz is smart enough to know he can't throw it so better off running. And Mario looks slow, weak and disinterested he could be the biggest bust we have ever signed if he doesn't get it together.
Billshank Redemption Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 yea fitz still sucks if we can figure that out then I really dont have much. yea and williams did not look good. anderson on the other hand was all over the place
K-9 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Fitz better get better. He's a game manager but still. Some of his throws were terrible. While I'm glad Chan finally relied on the running game, he still has little clue about play action. On our possession following CJ's second TD run, Chan NEEDED to come out with at LEAST one play fake. Nothing. A straight three and out. And his call on the end around to Dickerson was as boneheaded as it comes. That's all I got. But I'm an optimist. GO BILLS!!!

Williams was doubled every play. It opened up things for KW, MD, and even Shep. He also had that clutch fumble recovery
