Buffalo's other football team on national TV Wed 9/19

UB hosts Kent State in their conference opener at 7pm. The game will be on ESPNU. Why not take a break from all the Bills angst and watch some local college ball on TV or live at UB Stadium? Tickets are cheap, parking is free and tailgating is allowed. I like to park along Lake LaSalle. UB has 2 players who are on pro scouts radar: RB Brandon "Bo" Oliver and LB Khalil Mack.

WNY will never have a good college football team. There are no good high school players around and they can only get the scraps from other areas. The fan support is a joke as well.

Other than some UB students, the athletic department, and the players families, nobody gives a rat's ass about UB football.

The fan support is a joke because the product is a joke and not the other way 'round,

Hard to believe they won the MAC and went to a bowl game just 4 years ago. They could have built on that success but HC Jeff Quinn was a terrible hire. And unlike big time schools that can afford to buy out a contract, UB is stuck with him.
