Damn, and I was going for ultimate snarky. I wonder if anyone has ever taught them about the laws of gravity? You know, what goes up, must come down? Or maybe the real problem is that someone should teach them if they point their "celebration tool" at someone, and pull that little curvy thing, then someone might die. IDBillzFan
Dear American, The simple fact that four Americans were murdered on American soil on the anniversary of 9/11 may not have been about a movie, and it may have been because we're totally incompetent and trying to hide the fact that Al Qaeda is alive and well and kicking our asses, it's important to understand, this wouldn't even be an issue if Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan weren't making it one. Like we said...it's a bump in the road. Sincerely, The Obama Administration (Note to JA: Obama may not need to kill a dog on TV. He may just need to keep Stephanie Cutter out front.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=D94cIH5gcfI Edited October 11, 2012 by LABillzFan

Look, I accept that intel and warnings are ambiguous and non-deterministic, and that to label security as "insufficient" is true only in hindsight. I accept that when the asshats who complain that Bush did nothing after his August briefing spout off, and I accept that now in this case. What I don't understand is compounding it with this unbelievably ridiculous "It wasn't terrorism - wait, it was - wait, we never said it wasn't - this isn't even an issue except for Romney" (Even though you just went through Congressional hearings on it, you idiots!!!) half-assed spin doctoring. The only reason its still a story isn't because of Romney, it's because YOU, THE ADMINISTRATION, CAN'T GET YOUR **** TOGETHER!!! Stop digging, morons! B-Man
Rep. Kelly: Libya got security cuts; Vienna got Chevy Volts Does anybody else find it kind of fazing that House Democrats really tried to blame Republican budget cuts for the inadequate security situation in Libya? Because, as Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) pointed out in the Washington Times yesterday, it doesn’t look like the State Department is exactly down to bare bones on their budget allocations — they just have particular priorities about where to spend their money. In a May 3, 2012, email, the State Department denied a request by a group of Special Forces assigned to protect the U.S. embassy in Libya to continue their use of a DC- 3 airplane for security operations throughout the country. … Four days later, on May 7, the State Department authorized the U.S. embassy in Vienna to purchase a $108,000 electric vehicle charging station for the embassy motor pool’s new Chevrolet Volts. The purchase was a part of the State Department’s “Energy Efficiency Sweep of Europe” initiative, which included hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on green program expenditures at various U.S. Embassies. In fact, at a May 10 gala held at the U.S. embassy in Vienna, the ambassador showcased his new Volts and other green investments as part of the U.S. government’s commitment to “climate change solutions.” While the embassy in Vienna was going green, the consulate in Benghazi was getting bombed, and little was done to stop it. Ahhh, yes — it is of the utmost importance that every department stay eco-hip and have their own special “green-ifying” trophy initiatives. Climate change, you know. http://hotair.com/archives/2012/10/11/rep-kelly-libya-got-security-cuts-vienna-got-chevy-volts/ The American embassy in Austria is considered one of the safest diplomatic postings in the world. The American mission in Benghazi, Libya is considered one of the most dangerous. While the State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya signed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton within the last eighteen months specifically prohibits the stationing of Marines at any diplomatic station in that country, the American embassy in Austria has a full complement of Marines. Among their duties are the presenting of the American flag at the annual 4th of July picnic held at the embassy in Vienna every year. .
IDBillzFan
Looks like the truth about Benghazi may NOT wait until after the election. http://www.reuters.c...E89N02C20121024 White House told of militant claim two hours after Libya attack: emails (Reuters) - Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show. The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks. The brief emails also show how U.S. diplomats described the attack, even as it was still under way, to Washington. But...but...but...it was a video...!!! drinkTHEkoolaid
I haven't put any effort into using the Google to search....but I remember hearing on the radio today that the white house was getting live feed of the (organized terrorist attack) err mob angry over a video no one had seen as they attacked the consulate for 7 hours. The white house was watching this unfold live and did nothing. If it turns out that is true it would be beyond damning.
