TheBrownBear Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 What do you guys think? Drop Malcolm Floyd for Alfred Morris? Quote
section122 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Hell no! There has to be a worse player on your team than Floyd. He should be the #1 wr on the chargers who still will sling it... If he can stay healthy that is Quote
BuffOrange Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Depends on your roster. I wouldn't trust Shannahan to stick with 1 guy but if you're desperate at RB and/or deep at WR I don't hate it. Quote
Buftex Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Agree with BuffOrange... the only RB that Shananhan has ever hitched his post to, full time, was Terrell Davis, almost 15 years ago....Morris had a nice game on Sunday, so now you can expect Evan Royster to get most of the carries this coming Sunday. KD in CA Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Yes I'd grab Morris but Floyd can't possibly be the worst guy on your bench -- unless you play in an 8 team league in which case you probably don't need Morris. Quote
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I dropped Toby Gerhart for Morris in my league. Now I have to decide if I play him, Shonn Green, or Lance Moore in my flex spot. Quote
Metal Man Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Hard to make predictions on performance after only one week.... But I agree with most here that Floyd can't be your worst option. Meachem only got targeted twice on Monday night so right now it looks like Rivers will be looking to Floyd and Gates most of the time. Add that to RBs being a crap shoot in Denver and it doesn't seem like the best move.... obviously all depending on league/roster. Quote
zow2 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Play Alfred Morris now, while he is the hot "go to" RB for Wash. If he has a poor game, then it's time to sit him because that's when Helu and Royster will take the carries. Shanahan really likes Morris though. He is his guy for the moment. Quote
Awwufelloff Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I will never trust any RBs that Shanahan coaches, not worth my time. Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I dropped Toby Gerhart for Morris in my league. Now I have to decide if I play him, Shonn Green, or Lance Moore in my flex spot. I did the same thing after losing Fred Jackson. I think he'll have a good week against St. Louis....Shanahan really seems to like him, and he is a great goal-line RB. He's not flashy, but the guy always falls forward. Quote
