filthymcnasty08 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 makes me so sad for all of us. It's just a quality of play that we may never see from the QB position. They are both awesome, really. Time for bed. Love ya Bills faithful....we deserve so much better.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 This has been my point as well. Brutal how clueless fitz can look at times compared to other level headed qb's
LiterateStylish Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) Big Ben not so much. But Peyton Manning? Im drooling. He's just toying with the Pitt defense. Fitz will NEVER be that QB. I like Fitz, but it is what it is. Edited September 10, 2012 by LiterateStylish
Heels20X6 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I think Indy is going to regret pulling the chute on Manning so early. He looks vintage out there.
Boludo Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 peyton and ben have superbowl rings fitzpatrick cant operate a razor
filthymcnasty08 Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Best field general I have ever seen. John Elway smiling from ear to ear tonight.....keep Pey healthy, and you are going to have a chance to win every game.
The Voice of Truth Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I saw a brief amount of the Packers/49ers game today. When I saw Rodgers throw a slant route, I knew the Bills were in trouble. How quick his release was as well as the velocity on the ball were just so superior to what I had watched all day out of Fitzpatrick.
Best Player Available Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) It's fun just watching 2 competent NFL teams playing at the same time. Edited September 10, 2012 by Best Player Available
truth on hold Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) yeap, and if Ben came into compete against Fitz as an unknown, I honestly think in chans way of assessing QBs he doesnt win the job. Chans committment to his system isolates book smart guys at the extreme expense of athletic talent and play making. Edited September 10, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
LiterateStylish Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I think Indy is going to regret pulling the chute on Manning so early. He looks vintage out there. Huge mistake by Irsay. Manning looks the best he has looked since 2006.
Heels20X6 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 yeap, and if Ben came into compete against Fitz as an unknown, I honestly think in chans way of assessing QBs he doesnt win the job. Chans committment to his system isolates book smart guys at the extreme expense of athletic talent and play making. Ironically, Peyton would be his dream QB. The smartest Quarterback in the game.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Huge mistake by Irsay. Manning looks the best he has looked since 2006. Luck will be a fine consolation prize. Colts didn't have the talent to support Manning his last few seasons.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Some QBs have Super Bowl rings. Others have toilet bowl rings.
NoSaint Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Luck will be a fine consolation prize. Colts didn't have the talent to support Manning his last few seasons. If they said screw long term planning and did a redskins-esque trade for the luck pick.... They would've had a chance to make another couple runs. It's an interesting spot. I'd probably do the same as irsay here.
TheFunPolice Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Irsay did Manning a huge favor.... Everyone wins.... The colts are a bad team right now, and Manning only has a 3-5 years left realistically. Let him go continue elsewhere and get your kid to develop at QB.
truth on hold Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Ironically, Peyton would be his dream QB. The smartest Quarterback in the game. I agree and I think brees even more so due to consistently more uptempo pace. But those guys aren't here. You have to be flexible and use the guys that are available and you can win with. No system is so good it justifies putting on the field guys without NFL talent. More irony: combined Ben has been to as many super bowls (3) and has as many wins (2) as Manning and brees combined.
BiggieScooby Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 peyton and ben have superbowl rings fitzpatrick cant operate a razor Agreed! Let's make him shave that silliness. And while we are at it Gailey too.
