For example, last year we witnessed multiple threads on George Edwards created almost on a daily basis. This thread can provide one easy to access and organized discussion thread for the entire season.. Edited September 9, 2012 by BuffaloBillsForever
LiterateStylish Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I guess he reaallllyy doesnt believe in blitzing.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I guess he reaallllyy doesnt believe in blitzing. No, he doesn't. Not that it should be a surprise.
LiterateStylish Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 No, he doesn't. Not that it should be a surprise. When you see that rushing 4 is not doing it, you would think he would catch on.
Ennjay Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Refresh my memory. What does Jairus Byrd do for a living?
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 I guess he reaallllyy doesnt believe in blitzing. I can't understand under any circumstance how Byrd is lined up against Holmes on 3rd down or leaving McKelvin on an island with nobody overtop.
bizell Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 have you guys been watching the game? he has been blitzing, but it always ends up being from the wrong side
DCBongo Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I do not see the upgrade from Edwards, even with "More Talent"
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) I do not see the upgrade from Edwards, even with "More Talent" A lot of Edwards problems was personnel. Wannstedt has MUCH BETTER personnel this year which should cut down on mismatches. A saftey playing one on one against a teams #1 WR SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. Some of the mismatches we saw today were inexusable. Wannstedt performance today was as bad as it gets. Edited September 9, 2012 by BuffaloBillsForever

BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 I think Gailey hinted at that last year. So I think that is correct.
Jerry Jone's Toupee Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Dear Dave, Look at the f****** scoreboard! It's like the jets were on a power play most of the game
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I think Gailey hinted at that last year. So I think that is correct. So you're saying you believe Wannstedt stood idly by all last year and gave no input but was elevated to coordinator as soon as the season ended because ... well, just because. Right? Edit: Perhaps I'm not seeing it because in my business, we promote people based on factors other than how good they look standing next to the water cooler.
billrooter Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Sanchez has dropped back all day and gotten rid of the ball real quick nixing buffalos' pass rush when the dbs are playing 7-10 yards of the ball. Wannstedt has to have the dbs step and and play bump and run or something of that sort in my opinion.

Gailey said flat out it was George Edwards scheme, Wansteedt being involved with the LB's. Whether you believe him or not, I don't really care. Wannstedt was promoted simply because of his past experience. Usually the reason why people get jobs or even promotions.

Actually, if everyone only promoted people that had already held the position in the past everyone would be unemployed.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 Actually, if everyone only promoted people that had already held the position in the past everyone would be unemployed. Rediculous statement.

Sisyphean Bills Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Rediculous statement. It's actually rather simplistic logic. OTOH, your take does explain why one would never draft a QB.

No. You treat it an absolute. My statement is not interpreted as such an extreme which you interpret it to be. . Edited September 9, 2012 by BuffaloBillsForever
