bills1960 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 There is a serious concern with this organization that isn't often addressed. I'm 18. I've seen nothing but sheer futility. I happen to be a die hard as many of you are. But I'm sure a lot of my peers aren't like me. This franchise is going to have no foundation for a fan base in twenty years if things stay the way they are. Selling tickets now certainly an issue. But two decades from now?
Nyghtewynd Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Why would anyone under 30 bother with this franchise? You can watch any team you want now. No one with a brain would choose this team, and anyone who forces this upon their children should be sent up to Child Protective Services.

bills1960 Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 This franchise has sucked for 70% of its existence. This is nothing new. But it's different for my generation. Literally no playoff seasons. A whole decade was a wash. No hope at all.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Good luck. I grew up in an era where ya had to listen on the radio because the Bills NEVER sold out. It wasnt until i was junior in high school that they competed for a Super Bowl. 2/3rds of my life of 39 years have been spent rooting for cellar dweller. Get out while the getting is good.
theesir Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) I came into adulthood in the Super Bowl years and have been a fan all my life. My 14 yo son? The only way I can even get him in the ROOM while I'm watching a Bills game is to open a bag of potato chip. Edited September 9, 2012 by theesir
Buffalos#1Fan Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I'm 20, but I have wrinkled face looks 60 from this God forsaken franchise. I'll also be here next week
LiterateStylish Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 But it's different for my generation. Literally no playoff seasons. A whole decade was a wash. No hope at all. No, it's not different. Remember the 70's?
BillsFanM.D. Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 40....anybody got a time machine? No, it's not different. Remember the 70's? 0 for the Dolphins 70's? The mid 80's were no birthday gift either.
John Gianelli Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 The 70s had OJ's record-breaking seasons, and the 80s were bookended by Chuck Knox and Marv Levy's teams. I think the 2000s were the worst Bills decade ever.

Best Player Available Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 In the end, the Bills have a storied History of suck. If not for Polian, we could be pushing 30 years without a playoff game.
