boyst Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Ralph is cheap! I actually like this, though. We need some room to re-sign some fella's.
PaattMaann Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 cap space this year wouldnt affect resigning guys though
rstencel Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 cap space this year wouldnt affect resigning guys though Beleive they can give the bonus money at time of signing, and under that years cap figures, so if give bonuses for re-signings may be able get it under this years cap.
Malazan Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 cap space this year wouldnt affect resigning guys though Actually, Under Article 13, Section 6(b)(v) of the CBA, each team may carry over any remaining cap room from one year to the next by submitting written notice, signed by the owner of the team, to the league office no later than 14 days before the start of the next league year. The written notice must indicate the maximum amount of cap room that the team wishes to shift from one cap year to the next.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Team-by-team cap space as of September 7: http://profootballta...of-september-7/ good maybe we can get some WRs off this list: http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/2012/contract_year_players.cfm?player_pos=WR
TheKickIsGood Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 With cash to the cap, this seems right. I have no complaints about Ralph's spending this year.
Captain Hindsight Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 The Bills FO has been very good as of late. One of the best teams on paper in years
bigdogtim Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 This is a place where men post. When did the cosmo readers sneak in and start whining like little girls??? And saying Ralph is cheap is way better, IOHO than saying Ralph WAS cheap!!!
Saint Doug Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 good maybe we can get some WRs off this list: http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/2012/contract_year_players.cfm?player_pos=WR Ralph will be cheap.
billsfan89 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 The Bills do need to work on signing Levitre or Byrd. You can franchise tag the one you choose not to sign but get one of those deals done so it puts less pressure on the beginning of next off-season. I remember seeing a story about the Bills opening up negotiations with Levitre don't know if that's 100% true. But them cutting D.Edwards, Merriman, and Florence should leave more than enough cap space for this team.
stony Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 This is a place where men post. When did the cosmo readers sneak in and start whining like little girls??? And saying Ralph is cheap is way better, IOHO than saying Ralph WAS cheap!!! What are you even trying to say here?
Quester74 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 good maybe we can get some WRs off this list: http://www.fftoolbox...m?player_pos=WR Brian Urlacher, anyone? (Assuming he's reasonably healthy)
Captain Hindsight Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Brian Urlacher, anyone? (Assuming he's reasonably healthy) His knee will never be the same, he even said it
truth on hold Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Team-by-team cap space as of September 7: http://profootballta...of-september-7/ How does this work under the new CBA? Arent teams required to spend a minimum?
Malazan Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) How does this work under the new CBA? Arent teams required to spend a minimum? I believe next season is the last season they don't have to spend the minimum Edited September 8, 2012 by jeremy2020
truth on hold Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I believe next season is the last season they don't have to spend the minimum Buti guess its given team's like bills an incentive to ramp up beforehand , be hard to make it all up at one.
papazoid Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 for the first two years of the new labor agreement, there is no minimum payroll per team.... But the 32 teams combined must spend $3.8 billion in cash (salaries and bonuses) by the end of each season. Starting in 2013, the league will return to a "cap floor" per TEAM ,which is set at 89 percent of the cap, no more leaguewide total.
frogger Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 good maybe we can get some WRs off this list: http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/2012/contract_year_players.cfm?player_pos=WR Bowe would look good in buffalo, he's worked with Chan before.
