Nanker Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 No surprise he hasn't been picked up by a team. If he played the first week - his entire salary would be guaranteed. Waiting in 3, 2, 1... who's going to call for Nix to pick him up and put him on our practice squad?
MyHorseAteTheKid Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 If there was really a chance that he could have been the old "Lights Out," He would still be in Buffalo... Good luck to him, I hope he does well in his life after football...
San-O Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 It would be nice to see him back on the Bills IR... LOL. Nice.
wnyBacker Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I understand the fiscal side of this argument, but if he had anything left in the tank buddy and co. Never would have cut him.... Unless we have some catastrophic injuries to our line you will never see him back in buffalo, possibly even the nfl.
ganesh Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I was wondering the same thing, I have a hard time believing he is done.... which is probably just denial on my part. If he had some gas left in his tank, a pass rush needy team (which are plenty around) would have grabbed him by now. Merriman is done.
Boludo Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 why would the sign merriman back? he's got nothing no other team will take him why should the bills be the only dumpster divers that give that pile of trash a job just keep him on the roster forever maybe he'll have a resurgence in his 40s
Nukethis Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 We arent exactly seeing teams fight to sign him.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I was wondering the same thing, I have a hard time believing he is done.... which is probably just denial on my part. If he's not done, why hasn't someone else signed him?
Best Player Available Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 If he had some gas left in his tank, a pass rush needy team (which are plenty around) would have grabbed him by now. Merriman is done. Yea, some people said that in 2009 about him.
