The fact that they make 100 million this year vs. 200 million because they signed Mario Williams?
LabattBlue Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 "..We don't expect the proud citizenry of upstate New York to take kindly to flaming arrows from a magazine obsessed with the rich.".
IslandBillsFan Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 This article (if you can even call it that) has no reasons or logic to it. Just a couple paragraphs to fill some space. What a joke.
CodeMonkey Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 http://www.nfl.com/n..._headline_stack So what constitutes "Most Troubled"? The fact that they make 100 million this year vs. 200 million because they signed Mario Williams? Michael Ozanian, executive editor at Forbes, said the small market, old stadium and ownership uncertainty all led to the "most troubled" description.
Buftex Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Michael Ozanian, executive editor at Forbes, said the small market, old stadium and ownership uncertainty all led to the "most troubled" description. What? Are you some kind of code monkey or somethin'?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Well...I guess we better win the whole thing this year then.
MARCELL DAREUS POWER Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Michael Ozanian, executive editor at Forbes, said the small market, old stadium and ownership uncertainty all led to the "most troubled" description. wait, green bay, cleveland, minnesota, cincy, kc, saints, etc etc... lol
Beerball Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Yeah, I'd say unsettled. Ownership is the biggest question surrounding this team. Until that is resolved things are unsettled. (think "up in the air" if the word unsettled bothers you)
ny33 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 wait, green bay, cleveland, minnesota, cincy, kc, saints, etc etc... lol D Lambeau has been sold out for decades. It's impossible to place the Packers in the same category as those teams.
SF Bills Fan Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 That is a stupid comment. The Raiders, Jacksonville and Rams are troubled franchises. The Bills are not.
Gugny Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 That is a stupid comment. The Raiders, Jacksonville and Rams are troubled franchises. The Bills are not. What takes the Bills out of that list, though? Seriously. If anything, put the Bills in and take the Rams out. The quote from the executive editor says it all - small market, old stadium and uncertain ownership. No other team is facing those three things simultaneously. It's a sad truth.
BuffaloWest Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Dont forget the Chargers....They have a total crap stadium , a team on the decline, blackouts looming and almots a ZERO chance to get a new stadium built...Oh yeah, and what about Tampa Bay-Already blacked out in week one, and Cinci who didnt sell out one game last year...F this guy, just another hack looking to make waves because he is a nobody.
CodeMonkey Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Actually what I found interesting was that being valued at $805 million put the Bills at 29th in the NFL. !@#$ me there is a lot of money in tackle football huh. My net worth should be a lowly $805 million.
Coach Tuesday Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The Buccanneers' home opener is blacked out.
bonechiller Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The Buccanneers' home opener is blacked out. Now that's "troubled"
Best Player Available Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Do the Jags re-use the tarps to cover up entire sections of seats every year, or is the league paying for new ones?
Joe W Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Do the Jags re-use the tarps to cover up entire sections of seats every year, or is the league paying for new ones? The Bills playing a game in Toronto is equivalent to tarping 9000 seats per game. The Forbes description is right and Bills fans have to cometo grips that this could be their last season in Buffalo
bmur66 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I am cancelling my Forbes subscription and selling all my Buffalo Bills stock.
BillsWatch Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Magazines still exist? They need something for waiting rooms of doctor's offices (usually magazines some there would have bought anyways and can deduct now) and to place advertising in,
